If you use the hoe twice on the rock areas it will be plowed and you can plant on it. Also, once you buy the chicken coop drawing you will have chickens available.
Your hoe gives luck which increases your chances of getting everseeds and multiple harvests. You can hoe/harvest several rows at once by holding down your mouse key while you hoe/harvest. Tip: You're going to need 500 strawberries.
Yes Shelab, your farm is cool. And wow Milo slept a very long time. Those jungle spiders are mean dudes!!! Yay bunnies, and they love eating those bad weeds. 🐰🐰💐
Farming: - I am not sure if you need to space out the trees, but I did same as you. - All trees need biome-specific fertilizer but only some of the crops do. - Each mushroom guy has only the everseeds from his biome. - The hoe can till AND harvest multiple rows if you hold down the action button. - Some crops will attract beetles. Chickens eat beetles. They will be available at the farm shop after you have the coop blueprint. - Chickens attract a fox - which can be scared away by a goat (no, the chain reaction doesn't go further). - Pigs will give you random fertilizers so you don't have to constantly make it. They also give you ginger. - Cows only give milk which comes in later in the cooking profession. Jungle Island: - The mine is a huge rectangle, larger than the mountain mine. The second exit is in the northwest corner. Easiest way: go west to the wall, then turn right (north) along it (or north, then west). - The volcano is a puzzle in itself like the mountain with one way up and fast-travel via ladders down. The entrance is on the western side. If you try it in one go, it will probably be (most of) an episode. - The 3 temples and the site for the offering crystals are on the outer corners of the map. Bring jungle planks & blocks, and rope to repair bridges. - The other cave exits are mostly near the temples. - The temple rooms are not really worse than in the mountains. Means: have patience, don't force it, walk away if you are tired. They are all doable. Yes, the final upgrade on the whip (and the other tools) is expensive. BUT it gives you FIVE chances in the temples!
my top fishing tip for the jungle is...catch one, find the mushroom guy and buy the rest lol and everseed are biome dependant, each new tier is a different biome... and yes upgrade your hoe all tools need to be upgraded
Yes definitely! An upgraded hoe doesn't just plough more spots, it harvests multiple crops at a time. Very helpful when your garden starts getting huge 😂
I am gonna wait to see how many jungle everseeds I want before I spend the tokens on fish. I am struggling for mountain and forest tokens because I spent them all and don't want to repeat that mistake!
What I did was with the small sprinklers (all I use really to be honest due to cost) was : 7 trees, 7 vines (grapes for example), 7 trees, 6 vines + sprinkler, 7 trees, 7 vines, 7 trees. Makes it rather compact, and can still get to the sprinkler to refill the fertilizer. And by keeping them all from the same biome I can maintain it easily by only needing to put one type of fertilizers.

If you catch the beetles in your crops instead of squishing them you can use them as bait for fishing since they are universal
u might want to keep watch for the fox as well
