Thank you for not having any of that annoying background music just the sound of birds so peaceful. I have never seen anything like this thank you for this video.
Yes yes yes I can't upvote this comment enough. Music can distract me from the intense visual learning of embroidery from online sources. The birds are very soothing.
This is SO nice - just you working quietly with the odd bird song in the background. It's so peaceful and lovely to watch you work. More like this please!
Totally wonderful and restful to watch you making this beautiful panel , and without any dreadful music in the background it was a true pleasure to watch thank you ❤❤❤xx
I'm not a big fan of bead embroideries, as I find them overly chaotic and tiring to look at, but this is beautiful and very soothing to watch. The sunlight, the gentle sounds in the background, the neat work. A well spent 15 minutes. (15 minutes for me, no doubt a day for you at least.)
Exactly, tambour is a very old craft you can see it in many historic garments and textiles. I love looking at historic embroideries they are a great inspiration for me
This is beautiful, I’ve never seen beads being used in this way before. You are extremely talented and the colours are amazing. I subscribed straight away.
Such lovely work. How did you get started with the tambour beading? I’ve been an avid embroider and spent years cross stitching for my personal pleasure.
Thank you so much! i studied Fashion & Textiles Embroidery at University. They gave us a lesson on tambour for a day and then i continued to practice on my own. I went on to work in the couture fashion as an embroidered where i got to better my tambour skill as i worked. But honestly anyone can learn tambour from the comfort of their home, thats why i made the tambour for beginners series on my channel.
This is beautiful! You're very skilled, and no doubt it took a while to learn. I'm curious, what did you do with this project? It is decorative, or part of a tapestry? Is it for a garment, or just for fun? I can't figure it out.
With tambour you can embroider from back and the front. Sometimes it’s easier to bead from the back and sometimes its better to do it from the front. For very small beads in a continuous lines it’s easier form the back. I have a tutorials for beginners on my channel if you want more info 😊
Where can I buy the frame to start working on this project. 😊 I just love how you make it look so easy I bought one but is not sturdy and the netting I’m using is to open , so my threads just doesn’t stay Can you help. Thanks
always wamted to try this but i thought a person could only do this if they had use of both arms. i only have use of my right arm because of a stroke you have showen me that maybe I could give this a try!! ty
It breaks my heart to correct you, but you do need both hands to do tambour embroidery. If you watch my Lesson 1 for beginners on my channel you can see exactly how this technique works
Thank you so much!! I use the tambour when its continuous, and when its more than a few beads. If its just a few beads that are scattered, then i tend to use a needle.
You are truly Amazing! Thank you. This is just wonderful, so relaxing. I am Not familiar with this process. What type of beading Needle? Just starting Needle punch. Long way off from you my New Friend 😊 🙏 🇺🇸
Thank you!🥰 Its a tambour hook, its much more similar to crochet than to punch needle. I have a 10 part series on my channel called “Tambour embroidery for beginners” if you would like to learn❤️
❤️. Honestly, i first watched the video without noting the name of your channel and couldn’t help but thing of the decorations in the Albanian traditional costumes. I binge watched your videos after that 😂 . Beautiful work and you make it look so easy.
Hello. Hope you dont mind me asking what do you call that gold metal thing that you are uing to sew the beads? Hoping to get a response. Thank you very much
Its called tambour embroidery, you can find tutorials for beginners on my channel, just go to my playlists. The tool is called a tambour hook, you can find it on my Amazon storefront along with other supplies, link is in the description
I personally would not recommend that. I would trace the design on with a fabric pen or use a water soluble film, which is a lightweight plastic that you can draw on and wash or pick away easily.
I don’t remember why i cut the sound from that part, im still trying to figure out how to record and edit well. I want to do more asmr stitching videos so if anyone has advise on how to film asmr without the background noise please leave a comment, thanks 😊
