- On our first-ever trek, we went to Nag Tibba - which is classified as easy trek - but didn't turn out to be so. We went on a weekend trip on 16th-17th February 2019 from Delhi.

About Nag Tibba -
Nag Tibba ('Serpent's Peak'), 3,022 metres (9,915 ft), is the highest peak in the lesser Himalayan region of Uttarakhand state (Garhwal Division), and lends its name to the 'Nag Tibba Range', itself the next-northerly of the five folds of the Himalaya. It is situated 16 km (9.9 mi) away from Landour cantonment, and around 57 km from Mussoorie in Tehri Garhwal region of Uttarakhand.
The trek to Nag Tibba starts from Devalsari where one can stay in the Forest Guest House by obtaining permission from the Mussoorie Forest office. Another way to reach Nag Tibba is from Shrikot, some 110km from Dehradun the trek is short from Shrikot compared to Pantwari and Devalsari and one can trek a further 5 km to Nag tibba top which offers a panoramic view of the Himalayas. Compared to it, from Shrikot the trek is only 6-7 km till the temple on the top. No accommodation is available at the place. The trail from Shrikot is clearly marked till the temple. The trek is easy to moderate level and take about 3-4 hours to reach the temple.Pantwari, some 100 km from Dehradun. The trek is short from Pantwari compared to Devalsari. Nag tibba is around 13 km from Devalsari and one can trek a further 3 km to Nag tibba top which offers a panoramic view of the Himalayas.

Everything was good but u should tell the audience about Camp rent charges, food charges, and all, I hope you get what I'm trying to tell coz now i am wondering I should take my tent or rent there but i don't know whats the price for it. by the way nice video keep doing and keep travelling

Can we rent tent at Pantwari village on the spot?
When you are covering treks, it would be really helpful to viewers if you could mention the daytime high and nighttime low temperatures, and also show the water source at the camp, and the hygiene facilities available.

Yes. It was winters and too much snow higher up so camping was way below the temple.
We went to this trek last week & the view from the summit was really breathtaking. On our trek the mountain was covered in whole green from grass to trees.
That dog in 10:15 climbed up with us and also navigated us down. 😌😌
It was really a wonderful experience.

Hamara base camp yaha se bhi uper laga tha, waha se Naag tibba 2 km ke aas paas tha.

We had booked via Thrillophilia and everything was arranged by them. Trek starts from Pantwari village. Till base camp its laid out path. But after that is forest and you can get lost if you don’t have guide. Cost per person can be 2500-3000

No there are no washrooms. You will have to use dry pits

This video was recorded on Canon G7X. However now we have started using Panasonic GH5. We recorded everything at 60fps so that it can be slowed down later

How many kilometres is the one way of the trek ???
Till base camp its about 5 kms and from base camp to peak its 6 kms.

You look for camping in The Goat Village which is near basecamp. For camping at peak you will need to carry your own tent

We parked the car in main market of Pantwari. Everyone parks there. Its a very small village and is safe. You can also confirm with your trip organisers, unless you are going on your own.

There are trekking organizers there in the market. However we had done all the bookings beforehand. Do confirm before going - you may be able to find contact numbers Google
