I don’t use Bluetooth much anymore. However, it’s Surprising that the Auris BluMe or Bluedento HD Bluetooth dacs haven’t been mentioned. I’ve used both and they’re fantastic for what they are. I use the Auris in my bedroom setup with an old Pioneer sx424 and it’s hard to beat for a Bluetooth setup. Love your content by the way Randy! Keep up the good work
Thanks Randy, great review and comparison on the Xduoo vs the Ifi Zen Blue. Both sound like a lot of bang for the buck, tube gooey or Ifi stack. Dang it.
I love it. I find A LOT of variability on how AAC sounds on, depending on the the BT receiver and DAC. I only have one combination that I find acceptable, but I have another option on the way to test.
Been looking for reviews on the xduoo MU603.. and also considering aiyima T8 (per your review) for my first "tube" experience.. I understand they do not exactly perform all the same functions, but between the 2, which would you recommend to get? Enjoys your reviews and content as always..👍 pls keep them coming. Cheers!
I have the xDuoo 602 headphone amp and I love it. I stream music through the FX Audio D01 and it's awesome. Strongly considering getting the 603 and running it through my D01. Good times.
Using the Zen Blue v2 here. I love it in comparison to some cheaper ones that I've tried. LDAC all the way. Apparently it also does aptX lossless, but alas, I don't think Sith Audio has made a Bluetooth phone with that capability yet! 😉
A minor point... Whenever the list of codecs supported comes up.. you say: "aac is apple". The aac codec is also on android and is not owned by apple. its their first codec the apple devices negotiate for with the bt peer (and maybe the only one unless one doctors up the apple device to support other codecs)
Thank you for your very informative video about this product. Do you mind if I ask you a question? I am thinking to subscribe on Amazon Music HD but I need some information how to go about the setup. My idea is to use my Galaxy S20+ as a streamer and pair it to this device Xduoo and connect the RCA cable into my Integrated amplifier. My question is for this kind of setup Am I going to receive an HD quality out on my speakers? Thanking you in advance.
I personally dont use bluetooth (unless i play some songs outdoors on my jbl charge) , but I get that it might be useful for some people. The Sith audio commercials on the other hand I cant live without! 🇸🇪
zen blue run through ny benchmark dac, aptx +, Sounds Superb,to be fair the dac in the zen blue is no slouch, run through a Yamaha as701 amp, tannoy 611 speakers, paradgim 10 inch sub.
I think the Zen blue sounds so good that something keeps on stopping me from getting a stand alone streamer like node 2i or a Denon dna 800ne (I have the 800ne amp) just to see if I can tell the difference between real hi-res and this bluetooth receiver. Nice little upgrade is the iPower power supply (£50) well worth it.
I have the solid state Xduoo XQ50 that has no tube but I had the same reaction concerning soundstage: never heard BT presented that way before. This 50 also outputs in digital coax and optical, so competes more closely to the iFi Blue, except no LDAC support. However far less moola. Thumbs up.
Thank you so much for sharing amazing video, can you please help me with a buying decision? I am looking for a set of headphones to use at the gym when I’m on the treadmill that are very similar and sounds to the jamo c93 speakers. In other words I want something that has bass and the top end under $100 or $150
@@naastradamus yep its hooked to Smsl Da9, with stock lamps, widens the stage a little bit, cuts of some detail and elevates the mid and some low freq. As with the MT602 tubes will make a difference 🙂
The xduo mu 603 would be good to plug into an echo link to upgrade the sound. I am using the qudelix with my echo link currently via 3.5 to rca and it sounds much better
please review the iFi GO blu - Portable Bluetooth 5.1 Headphone Amplifier with 4.4mm & 3.5mm Headphone outputs. had my eye on this since they released it!
I have a home gym downstairs with a Denon PMA-920 and Cerwin Vega D-2's, I got the 1Mii B06 from Amazon for $30 and it sounds great to me, but hey I'm not an "audiophile"
I’m disappointed with this Sith Audio product, I tried it in the shower and it just fizzed uselessly on the shower tray and my singing still sounded like a dog with his jacobs in a vice. Interesting how the little tube brings interest and life to the littlest pieces of audio equipment. Keep entertaining the masses Randy. 👍
You might try installing bass traps in your shower drain. Sounds cray-cray, I know, but I have been set up that way for a week now and I'm now starting to sound like Englebert Humperdink, although my ultimate goal is to sound like Tom Waits. I'm told that suspending the shower on isolation springs helps, but I can't find a contractor willing to do it with a satisfaction guarantee.
Every preamp you reviewed was only close to what I am looking for. I want a streamer/bluetooth receiver that feeds into my stereoamp but also has the option to switch to optical input, since my stereo setup also does my TV audio (and I don't have a AV receiver).
I bought an iFi Zen Audio Blue last year. I think it is a piece of total crap. It has to be switched on for at least 15 minutes before the distortion levels fall to anywhere near acceptable and even then is it very easily overloaded, especially with speech. I am about to put it in the bin and buy something else.

Yeah…I like the sith audio ads. Keep ‘em! My 2 cents
Glad to see Sith Audio sponsorship back!
Thanks for putting videos all the time, look for you first every morning.
Will become a supporter when I can afford.
Sith Audio is back!!!

Glad to see the sponsors are back! You had me worried for a while!
I've been wanting this battle!!!
Yes. The Jeep audio man is back!! 😅🔥 Happy new Year bro

Sith Audio bath bombs are the bomb. Great battle royale! Glad you're coming over to the warm side of tubes.
I fucking love tubes
Thanks dude, best way to start the morning!
Lovely stuff dude! Xx

I'm trusting you randy . Just what I never noticed I needed
A little worried on the broom handle tool. Imagination now going off.

This is a great battle between 2 tiny machines
Hi Randy, do you still use the xduoo mu 603.i was looking for a dac with Bluetooth for my fosi audio bt20a pro. Any suggestions. Thanks

How/where does one valve fit into a stereo signalpath?
@@johnm3544 So it is not really in the signal path?
Would love your opinion on HIDIZS DH80S I’ve seen some reviews saying it’s dac is better than some 1k ones for $140

Randy link to i power power supply thanks
I use my Zen connected to a LKS DAC, Oppo phone LDAC. Unbelievable!
I never thought bluetooth could sound that good.
Me and my misses both shared a bath with the bath bombs and I caught Sithilis.

Any chance of you reviewing the MU-601?

Love how big a star wars buff you are
Yeah, Auris Blume should really be in the review. I have several Bluetooth receivers Auris is the best of the bunch.
I'd like to see dedicated subwoofer outputs on these type of BT streamers. It would come in handy when primary output is going to a dumb outboard amp.
I think the Zen blue sounds so good that something keeps on stopping me from getting a stand alone streamer like node 2i or a Denon dna 800ne (I have the 800ne amp) just to see if I can tell the difference between real hi-res and this bluetooth receiver. Yes...yes. What l say as well.Best, D.
Randy, did you run try inserting the MT-602 in the chain after the 603? Just wondering if that introduces more tubey magic or mud.
Randy, where do you buy your framed album cover artwork?
I do like your content a great deal. You have previously said the Zen is the clear winner. Besides, Santa got 'me' the Zen,so it must be the best.

I watched this video hoping for something related to lossless streaming since audiophile was in the video title. oh well.....

I highly recommend Sith Audio duct tape. It can significantly reduce th resonance coming from your wife's mouth & possibly your children too!🤗🍸
🤣👌
MT602 is indeed nice, but the TA-26, now that's a dfifferent beast :) Goodreview !
Ever try the TA-26 with speakers? -as a tube "buffer?"

If you have an iPhone all these Bluetooth receivers are a waste of time, might as well buy cheap one’s as you limited to AAC
Man… the ex British… just zero humour/ wit🤔😂
