I have never been fond watching Korean series movies because I don't understand the language.
But when I watch Empress Ki just in 2 nights and 3 days I couldn't stop watching because I was sooo addicted to it! Most of the time im watching I was stress and shedding my tears at the same time till I reached the last episodes.
I was sad because i want to watch more about them.
All the cast was playing their Role into the highest level of greatness specially empress Yang, high Highness emperor, wang yu, taltal, empress dowager and wang yo loyal friends and buddy guards.
Korean historical movies is phenomenal! empress KI one of the best in my list..

this was the best histrical drama i have ever seen. i cried so hard when she discovered who was her son. when she went to the battle field to find her childs father, i blubbered all evening. still think of this drama as one of the absolute best.
who was the father of her first child?
he was her first loves child. the king who thought she was a boy for so long. she lost him the baby, when she fell off the cliff. she thought he was dead. her love was killed on the battlefield and she searched bodies untill she found him.
it was so sad for me.

every character in this drama was well written. Thats what makes it the best K-Drama ever. The villians played their role well. El Temur was a scary man, i was scared too. Tal Tal became a beautiful soul in the end. The empress and Emperor acting skills was on another level.

I love this drama so much. This has given the worst case of second lead syndrome but I am happy because Nyang loved Togon as well. I have always found Ha Ji Won pretty but she is prettier when she smiles freely like this because she was more composed in her role.

this movie is one of my favorites now. i love the cast. they are all adorable and great actors/actress. i'm sad it's over, i just finished it minutes ago at Netflix, but at the same time i am so happy that Yang became the Empress.

I just watched Empress Ki last week and I was so bothered by the ending. I feel so sad with the role of Ji Chang Wok. Wasting their years of being together of Ha Ji Won, not knowing that Ha Ji Won loves him. I was so touched by the unconditional love of Emperor.
Same here... I spent 2D1N continuously watching it and felt so sad with the ending... then I rewatched ep 45 - 51 again coz I felt I didn't understand the last few episodes.
Empress and Emperor both love each other but it was wasted 💔. The only good thing about the ending when she was with the Emperor when he passed away.
PS: while rewatching I felt that Grand Councillor Tal Tal also had hidden desires with the Empress 😍💞
