Both Mathew and Bindu make valid points. Mathew Kuzhalnadan's concern is relevant; we need to address it to retain our young talent within the country. We've seen this trend in pursuing engineering and medicine studies in the past. Unfortunately, many who study these courses do not end up working in the same field. Instead, they often find jobs in care homes, as it is easier to get sponsorship visas. The salary in these roles is relatively low, especially considering inflation, and the salary band hasn't changed much. Even though the pay might be higher than in India, the purchasing power is very limited, making it hard to survive. This creates a social issue trapped in a vicious cycle. People only learn the reality once they experience it firsthand!
