I totaly not agree with Miss Leonskaya , that we were free in our soul and spirit - in Russia. No, most of my friends , musicians, and .I. myself were not!!! I am a little bit younger than Liza, but was also a student of Moscow Conservatory, now live in California since1987. believe it dépend on the person - to be free inside. Some - has enough inner independence and strength and dignity to be « free spirit » but most were feeling very different- it is impossible , or very difficult, to feel « free inside » if you live in a Country , were people are slaves of the Government. I had a great life here, worked in one of the best Opera House in the world for 33 years, now retired.Had a great job as a a musician in Russia too, and very great full, that I had second chance to start everything from the zero here, and it was very challenging, but great!

Es una de las MAS GRANDES Y NOBLES PIANISTAS DEL MUNDO. Imposible no adorarla cuando se la escucha tocar y hablar. Seguramente tocando tan maravillosamente poseas un generoso corazon y alma.
