I just replaced my stalk on a 2010 CRV in 5 mins vs probably 1.5 hours if I followed another video (I was actually scared by the complexity in that video and would never replace it by myself if I haven’t seen your video). Thank you. Saved probably $200. You rock!!
@@howardjin1041 cool, glad it helped, that other video is way to involved to just replace the turn signal, I have over 12000 views on this, hope it helps lots of people!
Great video - thanks, I got mine swapped out. I found if you put the seat back and the seatback all the way down you lie down under the steering wheel and actually see what you are doing. Also screw driver with a magnetic head , , , big help
Thank you!!! I have a 2011 Honda CR-V SE (2007-11 are same). I watched the same video from 1A Auto that you mentioned and I couldn't believe I was going to have to go through all those steps just to replace a turn signal that would not stay up when I wanted to make a right turn (why don't these last the life of the car btw?!). I was reading through the comments on the 1A Auto video and noticed the 2 minute comment from Christian Noriega (also seen below commenting here) causing me to search and I found this video. Game changer! FYI - I did not disconnect the battery, but I did remove all three screws from the housing (one is different so keep them in order). Thanks again!
Thanks for the video! Worked great for my 2011 Honda Accord SE. 15 minute repair. Super simple, I just used a guitar pick to help separate the plastic cover. Thanks a lot.
Thank you for making this video!! I was dreading replacing mine it won’t stay up either and it’s driving me nuts. I need to replace it and wanted to do it myself.
Amy, it is really easy DIY, the new switch came from AutoZone and seemed to be of good quality, it lasted for the several years I had the car after this video, I have since sold the car. Good luck
Re Watch near the very beginning of video where I take the three screws out at the bottom of the cover, you actually have to lower the adjuster and look up inside that hole for the screw, the other two screws are easy to see inside the little holes on the bottom cover, only 3 screws total, hope that helps
Yep, just push adjuster down and pull the wheel all the way out as far as it will go towards the seat, you'll see it up inside the space the adjuster level folds into, good luck!
My light outside the car for the blinker stays on solid if I put the blinker on it blinks then goes back to being solid is this the issue that you fixed? 2010 accord also
@@tonysouza9546 nope, that is not the issue I had, I would replace the bulb first, it is the cheapest thing to do, then maybe the turn signal lever like I did in the video 👍 good luck
@@stevetegtmeyer1083 Ah I see, I think the assemblies are almost the same I think this should work as well. Thank you for the reply on such an old video! I really appreciate it! Just need to order the part now!

I just replaced this took 10 mins on a 11 accord. Thanks for the video!!!
Excellent video, worked perfectly for my 2011 Honda Fit. Wish I had replaced my stupid non-sticking turn indicator months ago.
Glad to hear it helped you out!
Thank you for this information. It only took me about 2 mins to change the switch.
Glad it helped, bets taking the air bag and steering wheel off like it said in another video....that would be crazy
Worked great - thanks!
You're welcome!
Thanks to this video I was able to swap out the bad switch in about 5 minutes. Great job!
Glad it helped

Dude you just saved me so much time and potential of messing up my stearing wheel trying to take it of.. THANK YOU SO MUCH
Works for 2010 Honda CR-V. Thanks for time and money savings!
Thanks for the video! I did the swap today on my 2010 Crosstour and it went smoothly!
Thanks Steve! What a help!!!!
Thank you so much. I just bought a 09 Accord and it has this issue. Now I can fix it.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. This truly helped me as I was stressing out how to fix this. Thank you.
Might have to do this soon when I turn right it's not staying in place every time thanks for the video
It really is an easy job, you can use a credit card or similar item to pop the plastic claim shell open, good luck

Thank you for this very helpful video!
very helpful unc god bless
I just unscrewed the first two screws he shows. You don't need to unscrew the one near the steering wheel lever.
Awesome video. Thanks man!
Thank you very much for this!
Thanks!
Thank You
Awesome video dude. Very helpful!

I can’t find where to screw back in the screw near the steering wheel lever? Thanks, Pat

Will this help if the turn signal and wipers are malfunctioning? Like when I turn on my wipers my right turn signal comes on.
Not sure, I did not have that problem....
Is the flasher relay in there somewhere too? Need to replace mine.
No, the flasher I believe is some where under the dash area near the steering wheel
Is it the same for the wiper switch?
Not sure, I did not have to do the wiper switch, but if I remember right, I think it is the same concept, just on the right side of the colunm
Does this work for the wiper switch as well?
It might, I did not have to replace the wiper switch, but I would think if your Ed the wheel to the left it would give you the space you might need
