The algae make this tank look much better than the "clean" ones you can see in the most zoo aquarium videos.

Also,it wouldn't hurt to add some big colorful Amazonian fish. Red Pacu's Blue Pacus..Zebra catfish. Brycon heleri or maybe Dorado's...

How come the red tail catfish does not eat the other little fish?

I think the bigger fish does eat the smaller fish often, but since they are well fed, so they are way too lazy to chase the other fishes down

That aquarium needs some serious habitat reproduction. Rock, gravels, and boulders. It also needs some prominent current..to make the fish fish normally.and it even looks better to see moving water. I see there is some kind of above landscape? Live roots dangling in the tank to the left.
It's really close to being a cement bathtub in looks right now.

Rocks are pretty rare in the Amazon. Mostly just silt, mud, wood and roots there

@@danwilson5160 There you go-piles of leaves are missing. Plus..there are boulders in the rivers of the Amazon. As for eye candy this tank only has size going for it. Some hyacinths s would help. What they should have done,Dan? Made a shallows large enough for Amazon lillys to be planted in. Plus many other exotic aquatics. A bit of rocks to keep the big plant eaters out.
