Fsr ultra performance in 640x480 with frame generation may give astonishing 25fps in 213x160 render resolution with very enjoyable 150ms input lag, you can go further and achieve over 60fps by using 4x lossless scaling, the latency will make the game feel like it was being streamed from the moon but it's smooth!
@@muhammedebrarnazli_1968 theoretically the worst GPU on the planet that "should" run this game is Intel HD 500 iGPU but that's only available in some potato mobile CPUs and the performance should be measured in frames per minute rather than second, any 6th gen and above intel CPU should at least start the game if only the intel shitty drivers will allow them to
Yeah, I was worried seeing first benchmarks but after release actually it runs pretty well, 1080 medium with DLSS Q 70-80 fps is nice. I'm more concerned that games advance too fast compared to budget gpus, with my 2060 I could run any new game in 1080p medium-high even max. Now with 4060 and new games you can't reach 60fps on max without FG. If something won't be done in 6000 rtx series you will need 6070 for high 1080p 60fps+ experience without FG
yes bc cutting edge UE5 games look better on medium than old games on very high. You cant just take medium-high settings of completely different games, made with other engines etc., and compare them with a completely new, cutting edge UE5 title's medium setting. medium isnt just medium. it doesnt mean the same in every game. New games have a way higher baselevel of visual fidelity. Many games still look good even on low, while older games usually looked completely shit on low settings. UE5 with Nanite, or Lumen, or just the insanely high level of detail in those new UE5 games, (and if you add full RT or even PT on top, the pc requirements skyrocket even more) is extremely intensive and hard to run. Thats also why UE5 titles respond so crazy good to upscaling. Upscaling is lowering rendering resolution, aka higher resolution makes the game exponentially harder to run. This is basically always true but in UE5 it reached new levels.
ALSO, factor in inflation and general increasd in prices after the C19 farce. 2017: GTX 1080ti with a MSRP of 699$ 2024: the same 699$ are 900$, from inflation alone. the production quality has increased A LOT, like the processing nodes have gotten way smaller. All this engineering, the ongoing increase in core count, in simple electronic on the cards, the quite a lot bigger coolers, all the software features that Nvidia is consistently improving, like DLSS. Wow, DLSS upscaling tech has gotten so freaking good. I have a 32inch 4k 240hz OLED monitor, I will build a 5090 pc as soon as it gets released. So think about it - even tho I will have the best possible pc - I will absolutely use upscaling wherever DLSS is available. Especially with 4k output resolution - DLSS Quality looks just as good as native, you couldnt tell any difference. Even up to DLSS Performance (so like 1080p rendering res) ooks awesome, if you scale it to 4k. FG comes on top, with a high enough base framerate it can be great, in non competitive FPS games. all this has to be paid for. so yes, if you pay only like 300$ TODAY, you wont get cutting edge performance bc its simply not realistic.
idk why everyone with 4060s always has way lower fps than me, i play with dlss and no fg and get 120 fps on very high with only particle effects, hair, and foliage turned down to medium (1080p)

It does deserve it... But not for unoptimised high-end AAA for 60fps.For games using properitey game engines or other highly optimized games like FH5 , it will still give decent FPS. My personal opinion is UE 5 doesn't fulfill the performance cost to visual uplift ratio
The game runs FSR 3.0 which is pretty much 2.2 with 0 fixes. Now that might not be true but all i know is that FSR 3's image quality was the exact same as FSR 2.2. Wished this used FSR 3.1 which has tons of fixes and improvements to the visuals.
My poor 1650 laptop started sweating when i clicked on this. Surprised it runs, but then again i somehow ran Robocop and God that game needs specs..and optmization.
Why is it that games usually run better at native 720p than FSR quality at 1080p ? In theory it's the same resolution so the performance should be similar. Also I notice that native 720p uses less Vram than FSR quality at 1080p, so maybe that has something to do with it ?
The upscaler part of FSR also takes some resources and it ends up having lower FPS. The thing is, usually it's worth the FPS hit, since it also looks much better than native 720p, but not in this game!
You're assuming upscaling on shader cores like in FSR is free, when it absolutely is not. The only "free" upscaling (even though it still isn't) is what Nvidia and Intel are offering with their Tensor cores, which you are still paying for upfront. That said the cost of upscaling is more or less fixed, so it becomes a smaller percentage hit the faster your GPU is. That is why shader-based upscaling seems to take a serious hit on low end hardware, because the percentage of total GPU resources taken up becomes opportunity cost for non-upscaled performance.
would a 1650 super make a bigger difference? i mean its only a boosted 1650 but with gddr6 may be a benefit, combined with newer specs may work better with frame gen (unlikely thought)
last breath of this ''popular'' and most affordable single slot 75w gpu. sad to see it die slowly. i'd pick one up to upgrade my 730 but.... for less than 60$ (it's price) i can get an rx 580 8gb but i can't upgrade the psu on my hp prodesk with an i5 4460 and 16gb ram. what should i do ? hang on with this or build an entire am4 pc ?
The PS5 version is using both FSR (1080p) and frame generation in the performance mode, and it's still not capable of a stable 60 fps. The result is (of course) terrible input lag, and a very blurry and noisy image. If they had lowered the settings instead, it would probably be much better, judging by how the much slower 1650 performs.
Yea, somehow the 1650 runs pretty well on native 1080p fsr quality at low or med settings. I'm pretty used to 35-60 fps jumps in a game as long as the input lag is manageable or barely noticeable.
Cool so I could play it with a 1650... This GPU is out there for 10paps max. And the CPU is 20-30 max. Which Mainboard to use? What's the cheapest one for that?
Did not expected it to run with 30+ fps to be honest... Guess its scalable, even tho playing it like this, which dips in boss fights, is not that great
oh man, i guess the price really is the problem not the gpu, my 4060 is like doing 150 fps in 1440p with high qual but low shadows i think its doing pretty good
you are wrong about FSR versions again, 2.1 is the most stable and soft but it ghosts, 2.2 is the most pixelated one but great on static, 3.0 uses 2.2 and 3.1 uses 2.2 but has some own "soft blur" filter that tries to hide the pixelation that 2.2 has

1080p Low with FSR set to 50% res and a few settings on medium would be perfect. FG just doesn't work to make unplayable games playable.
