Host Jordan Porter travels to the ancient city of Dali to learn about its millennia-long history, takes in its iconic pagodas and learns how cultural traditions from different ethnicities have fused over time.
Jordan starts off by sampling raw pork - a local specialty - before cruising around Erhai Lake on a shiny BMW motorcycle. He also visits the stunning Three Pagodas and then learns how hand-made tie-dye remains an enduring hallmark of the villages and towns dotting the beautiful Dali plain.
