SOOO cool to run across this!!! I was the bass player (Jason Ross back then) all through 91 until we broke up. There is NOT enough stuff out there about us when compared to so many of the other bands on the strip at the time. I have no idea why that is.... because we sold out EVERY show we ever played in Hollywood. We were on the wall of Gazzari's, made the cover of almost every Hollywood rag, and a HUGE part of the DNA on the strip at the time. DANCER was (my opinion may be a little selfish ...lol...) one of the best bands to ever hit the strip...and I can't tell you how much I miss those dudes and the bad ass times we had in Hollywood and touring the Southern US..... Vince was one of the best singers I had ever played with (You should have heard our version of Rock You Like A Hurricane).... - Nima was seriously a bad ass guitar player - best tone I had ever heard..Scott was the most entertaining drummer I had ever seen....and was seriously like my best friend for a long ass time.....man...the memories listening to this just blow me away. Can I shout out the coolest road crew on the west coast and Tom Farrell in this rant too??? Ah, what a time in my life that was. Cheers to you all listening to this!!!!

I came to this world in early 1989. So far I've listened to every genre/subgenre of rock/metal, but nothing stuck to me so much as hard rock from that era '87 until '93. Honestly that was THE time and THE place to live. I enjoy when I meet people who lived those days and sharing stories as you did. The quality of this demo was not bad at all, at least to my ears that's why I uploaded so the world can expand his knowledge and not remain only to the radio hits, it gets boring listening to the same staff. Shark Island was another great band but didn't have the same luck as others of course.

Dancer is my favorite band ever. I'm a 16 year old girl who is obsessed af. It's soo sad how obscure this band is!! It's like basically impossible to find videos or anything. The only dancer merch I have is a magazine I bought online💔😭 I hope more people discover this band like I did because It's so underrated and amazingggg. All this time is all I played on my 16th birthday😂
