I remember my mother bringing me the news paper the next morning in the hospital because I couldn't see this magical moment on tv. I actually cried tears of joy & said "Halle, You Did It"! I also saved that news paper and placed it inside of my baby girl's time capsule that she could also share in the joy once she was 18❤️ So proud for her & us!!

I remember precisely when Halle won the Golden Globe because I was actually giving birth to my daughter. It was such a special moment in black history. I remember my mother bringing me the news paper the next morning in the hospital because I couldn't see this magical moment on tv. I actually cried tears of joy & said "Halle, You Did It"! I also saved that news paper and placed it inside of my baby girl's time capsule that she could also share in the joy once she was 18❤️ So proud for her & us!!
