Just imagine how wholesome it'd have been if Liv had time / wanted to finish all of these masterpieces and put them on an album, starting with light, flirty, ethereal-first-love songs and ending with darker, not-so-naïve-anymore songs. Then, SOUR would come out to pick up where the first album left off, and eventually, GUTS. Like a movie trilogy, simply epic.
Late to this but every time I’m frustrated with myself or when I feel stuck in the songwriting i listen to olivia and just aspire to write more and get better like her. These are only the songs that make it to videos so i’m sure there are many more that she doesn’t like as much that don’t even make it this far

The female Daniel Johnston. She has already proven herself to be one of the best singer/songwriters of all time to me. Im a 26 year old man and heard Sour and was brought to tears multiple times first listen. She perfectly articulated my toxic relationship and i dont know how. I felt so understood it was overwhelming. Olivia, Daniel Johnston, and Lil Peep are the 3 people that to me, know how to put the most complex emotions into simple words. They make you feel so understood. We all think the things they say but dont know how to say it or were afraid or embarrassed to say it. I cherish Olivia deeply and cant wait for her next album. I know it will be absolutely amazing. I know its early but next to Amy Winehouse, Olivia is my favorite female singer/songwriter ever!
