I've been loving my DigitaLIZA+ film holder/light for scanning(35mm/120mm). I love how the film holder has a roller in it to scroll the film. my setup cost $126 USD all from amazon; $25 1" thick wooden cutting board, $9 3/4" threaded metal pipe, $8 3/4" flange, $9 Tripod quick release clamp, $75 DigitaLIZA+ kit. I scan with a used Fujifilm XE1 with a Olympus 50mm f3.5 Macro lens with a couple of extension tubes.
Oh really? I’ve never had that issue in the last 3 years of owning mine, have you been doing firmware updates? Mine has scanned hundreds and hundreds of rolls, I mostly got this setup for scanning 120 film
this is awesome. i have a dedicated scanner for med format and another scanner for 35mm and never went down the dslr route because the cost for the kits were a bit of.a joke but for this price i might give it a crack
yay someone who is not treating me like a ADHD child, thank you for the video.
What versatility for such a small price!! Good find Coop!!!
Yeah for the price it’s a great little piece of kit

Great video. Thanks for the solid breakdown!
Got the same one, excited to try it out!
Thanks for update! I've stopped using my primefilm xas because it was scratching my negative.

Nice! I have a cheap slide scanner but the picture quality is terrible. Time to use my good Nikon camera instead!
Looks like a great setup but I keep thinking the ES-2 with 60 mm micro lens would be tailor made for the D780.

you can build one yourself using harware store materials and smallrig parts for camera mounting.
Can you stop making videos and send my bloody camera strap? 😆
Thanks for the link to Ethan's store. Stand looks ok for the price.
How sturdy are the 3d printed parts for the copy stand? I am interested in buying
His etsy aint around anymore... out of business? Stopped wanting to make them?
