It does not reflect the true experience of a grab driver nor does it reflect on the attitude of majority of drivers towards Grab. It sugar coat the Grab process which is more that meeets the eye,.....
Well some grab delivery personnel know how to game the system. Even if u rate them badly they will still be 5*, turn around to grab and whine saying it’s the restaurant fault - it’s never cos we consumers find out both ways.
Can ask the ceo is it still substainable for grab to be on us stock market. How much fund hv left from the listing of grab in the beginning year till now?? How long the fund can last?? Will there be share buyback or delist if the grab business is not substainable in 2 to 3 years time?? How u going to further transform if all resources become more expensive esp here singapore??? and more competitor?? 🤔 🤔
by the way, I have one thing to say thanks grab for banning me on the app I can't create a new account simply because I didn't pick up my first order, and I tried to re-appeal my account back but they didn't get back to me. to the managing director I want to ask u why you never get back to me when I asked for my account back you just lost a valuable and honest customer and I hope your service will drop down so badly that you guys run out of business
There was a time when I requested Grab emergency response team to cancel the job because I do not want to affect my cancellation rate. I am driving taxi. Why?. I accepted a job and when the passenger boarded the taxi, she vomited before we exit the HDB carpark. I told the passenger that we cannot continue anymore. She agreed. She alighted. After I cleaned up the mess, and drove away. I received a grab taxi job, same pick up location and same destination. I din accept. After I stopped at petrol kiosk to further clean up the vomited seat, I saw another grab taxi job, going to different location but same pick up point. I accepted it because the distance is far and good for taxi as it has midnight charges. Then when I arrived at the pickup point, it was her again! I drove away of course and I called the emergency response team and explained to them the situation. They told me they are unable to cancel, asked me to call passenger to cancel it. I called her no reply, too drunk to hear the ring tone I think. I texted her she replied saying will tip me. I refused. After some waiting game, she finally cancelled. So this case closed. 2 days later, I realised grab operator can actually cancel the job. The job I taken 2 days later, my taxi got hit by government vehicle. Passenger was inside the taxi. I called the same emergency response team number, while trying to download the brief fact to grab operator, the traffic police came and also the passenger told me they late for appointment. (Super stressed out) I asked the passengers to wait for a while. I will continue the journey after I took down the particulars of that driver driving that gov vehicle. After a while I saw the grab job was cancelled by operator. So from that incident I confirmed that whatever grab operators told you, just take it as a pinch of salt. 我们在明, 他们在暗 (we are at open area, they are hiding in the backend). We never know how true the things they shared. Taxi Driver and private hire job to earn a living to survive in Singapore is tough if you need to bring in sufficient money on a monthly basis to pay bill. For passing time, grab driving can be fun (means when you hit $50 profit, you aim to go home. Those set a target (profit) of $6k to $10k above, not sustainable. Note that Singapore hospital beds are quite limited, even when new woodlands hospital fully operational, getting a bed is tough for commoners.
hello HL i read your story. definitely operator can do magic since they are using system. dont mind me asking you two questions 1) after you take down another driver particulars , is passenger suppose to be inside your car for the remaining trip ? or passenger should find another car ? 2) just curious (not sure you know this) , did you manage to find out under what circumstances the operator will "auto" cancel this trip ?
the customer service experience is really bad. the officers behind the phone are apathetic and not interested in solving ur issues. their prices are way higher than competitors. grabpay removing all the incentives for payment, the company is going downhill.
So sad, when I was a part time Grabdriver, nobody advice me about this Co-pilot Driver programme..feels so tension self-explore all by myself..customer service counter just tell you watch leaning video can liao..after a month driving with grab for a few trips...decided to leave. ( Jan 2021 )
Recently alot of my booking was canceled by the driver. They cant even wait for less than a minute. Normally when i saw them entering the carpark i will head down to the pick up point. A few time i saw them just arrive at the pick up point, when i go over the cancel my booking. No patience driver.
I believe that Uber should follow the Singapore based company Grab . Because Uber is getting worst I was former Uber eats driver in Australia they deactivate my account for violation their community guidelines. But I did nothing wrong because I just cancel the trip because that day it was raining it was very unsafe to complete the Job .
I was banned despite appealing and explaining myself. I should have at least be given a warning first. When i was called to be told i was banned,the person on the line was just wanting to end call without hearing my explaination. I am truly dissapointed. And due to sudden loss of income and bills unpaid,i have suffered alot. I even had my ideas stolen when meeting witj yr customer service personal on foreign customer nt able to call direct which u have now switch to internet call.
I think you must have done something that is against the rule hence a direct ban is imposed. What ideas stolen? If you would like to make a foreign call in, you can simply contact via email.
