I'm on the market for a v5 but i read many reviews complainig about creaking and the frame being too flexible Whats your feedback ? Was it really that bad ?
For now no creaking, i personally disassembled the bike (i read the causes of the creaking are lack of grease and wrong thigtened tolerances) and everything was ok. The flex isn’t that bad, i personally like it, you can really feel more grip in fast turns but the bike became a little bit less manageable on rough terrain (compered to my old bike canyon strive “21,same size and travel), so i think is a personal preference depending if you ride more bikepark style trail or tech ews stage
I think it’s the perfect amount of travel (especially wt a coil shock) for enduro/ enduro race. Maybe it won’t be enough for the big send in Bpark season.. we will see🤞

i was afraid of change the geometry of the bike to much but with 5 psi in less and two tokens it’s working pretty good, maybe in the future i’ll take it down to 160 just to try how commencal designed it

Yeah pretty sure, if you look on commencal store a size S with fox 36, air shock and trail tires is 15,8 kg, i think +1,5kg for my build is reasonable
