Kilcullen Garda Centenary Parade

On 22 October 2022, Kilcullen's serving and retired gardai paraded through Kilcullen to mark the centenary of the foundation of An Garda Siochána. The Last Post was sounded in memory of the 89 members of the force who lost their lives on active services over the hundred years. Medals to mark the centenary were handed out. Superintendent Oliver Henry and Sgt Tom O'Donoghue spoke at the event, as also did Nessa Dunlea of the Kilcullen Heritage Group.. Produced by Brian Byrne for Kilcullen Diary.
