Therefore it's pretty unreasonable to expect a deep meaning out of a flow-of-consciousness. When he references "floating through a portal" he's describing the experience of taking powerful psychedelics, something he was known to be especially into around the time this was recorded and which is also made clear by the line "making up religions off the mushrooms" later in the song. "Shooting waterguns I'm squirtle" fits in with the water/ocean theme of the song, which itself is a reference to taking opiates which apparently make the user feel somewhat like they're underwater (I would assume because of the change in how they breathe, I don't know because I don't take opiates). He also claims a few lines later in the song he isn't "tryna hurt nobody", so it makes sense he'd be shooting waterguns as opposed to real ones. These water references are very common in rap music nowadays, but 5 years ago when this came out it wasn't quite as oversaturated so not totally unoriginal. The reference to Squirtle also roughly dates Slugga as somebody who played the original Pokemon games, and is kind of funny/unexpected as are some of the other lyrics in the song such as "I'm a slow learner".
