I enjoy playing light run mp5 - stun, gas grenade and normal grenade. Ability I use is invisibility. I tend to cloak stun and down a player before dipping. Using gas whilst cloaking off point to deny, and grenades to damage from distance.
Fantastic game. The only issue i see is once you get to higher ranked play mediums tend to dominate lobbies. A team of 3 mediums or 2 mediums and a heavy is easily meta right now
Yeah I find lights become less and less important in ranked play as they get killed so quickly by good heavy/mediums. Butt I think if you play light with your team properly they could still be effective. I do think 2 mediums and a heavy is the strongest comp though.
Idk I keep having the headshot market go off just for a light to turn astound with a pistol and 2 shot me. Or pumping 20 shots into someone just for it to barely take half health lol
This is one game where getting high assist is actually a great thing. It means that you're doing a great job priming the enemies for your team to clean up. It's not about being the solo top fragger getting all kills, but not supporting your team. You can get a 30+ kill game and still lose because of that
1000% getting assists is actually really satisfying because you know you're helping the team get the win. Having 1 teammate get 20 kills and also 20 deaths isn't it.
I think your last point on chaos applies more to attacking than defending. When defending, you want to have maybe a bit of controlled chaos to prevent the other teams from coordinating properly and clearing you, but you don't want to just destroy everything. If you can prevent people from clearing rooms properly, it will force them to rush the cashout and get shredded by your util. If you just destroy everything and make the whole building collapse, you lose the advantage of being able to set up as a defender, and you might end up separated and not having good sightlines on the cashout anymore. Destroying everything is usually better when attacking, as it will break the defender's setup and move the cashout away from them, forcing them to reposition and take risks if they want to maintain a good defensive formation.
Yeah I don't disagree. I think it works both ways, but I like to have defences setup so that I can begin to destroy things when we need to make to harder for the point to be taken. If you feel like you're losing control, bringing down the building can create a reset and completely throw off what the attackers are doing.
A good example of "Help an enemy team" that you can apply every day in Quick Cash is when you're in this situation: Team Orange has $10K banked and they are about to capture a second cashout to win the game. Your goal is to win; and right now winning means you don't want Team Orange to get that cashout at any cost. So, if your team can't capture the Cashout, at least you can try to slay Team Orange, and help Team Pink capture it, so the game doesn't end. This keeps the match going and will give your team another chance of getting the next cashout for the win.
Yeah, I've definitely done that a few times even as a solo player. Some teams I've been on really get the strats and when you work with those people the game becomes crazy fun. Wish my friends were better about playing games together, cause I think we'd be really good at this.
Med + Healing beam + Defib was a great way for learning teamwork solo for me. My best game so far was 2 heavies teammates, I took light, poking at the enemy, carrying away my teammates downed statues and reviving them in safety, taking the vault and running to a cashout box and letting them ambush the pursuers and eventually hold down the point while I picked off retreating wounded enemies.
Thank you for talking about helping other teams. When playing ranked it can make a HUGE difference if you help send a bad team to the next round then a team who was also dominating the lobby with you.
Thank you!! I’ve played like 5 matches so far and the game is loads of fun but I still suck asss lmao and my bro was so confused on how he kept killing me and now I know why lmao
Knowing your role. That's huge, even for solos. If you're struggling with randoms, medium is your best bet. Heals, great damage/range, mobile, and a deep kit variety make it a perfect fit no matter the comp

The games fire ngl. And yes most people run heavy/meds but because of this ive been able to put a lot of time under my belt with the light class. Ive gotten good enough to duel heavys and meds with the V95 and win my 1s about 80% of the time. Theres a learning curve but I wouldnt be surprised to see the lights creep into the meta as the game gets older. I just believe alot of people struggle with the light because of how little HP is given. In short its a class with a learning curve and drastically diff playstyle. High risk high reward kind of playstyle
I love this game so much but I've gotten better to the point where everyone I match with is hitting optimal ttk too in like every fight. So anytime my team doesn't see someone and we're just shooting each other, then it's just a trade every time lol
