Fabulous footage. I often wondered why here in North America people often call our black and turkey vultures “buzzards” Thank you for this beautiful family story and your dedication to wildlife. Always makes me happy. 🥰🙏🏻
I’ve seen three buzzards in the skies above my village. I live on the West Lancashire plain and I see them riding the thermals over the river flood plain. I haven’t seen them since the Autumn but I’m looking forward to seeing them and hearing their plaintive cry later in the year. I hope the weather isn’t too disruptive on your side of the Pennines. I'm in Northwest Florida, and we have turkey vultures. One day I was out kayaking, and I had the privilege of watching three chicks fledge. The mother was so upset with me because I was just offshore by a few feet from them and watch them for several hours, it was one of the highlights of my life, thank you for all of your videos. They are an absolute delight in this very unpredictable world right now.
How fortunate you are to have such a beautiful backdrop. There's so much to explore. I would be up at dawn, make a lunch to pack along, and be on my way. I may drag my feet coming in but my heart would be light. When sleep overcame me, I'll be dreaming about the 'morrow. Thank you, Mr. Fuller, for so many smiles. ❤
One day here in Va( usa)USA, I saw a young buzzard with parents, who were teaching the youngster to eat road kill. They were patient and tender parents. You never know, until you watch. Thanks for your vids!!

Fascinating! In Texas people call vultures "buzzards" which I believe is incorrect. Texas is home to two main species: the Turkey Vulture and the Black Vulture. They act as a marvelous cleanup crew. Thank you Robert Fuller for another exciting and informative video about this relative of our North American Red Tail Hawk. They are smaller than your Common Buzzard, I think. Thank you for sharing their early days in the nest to their fledging and nurturing by their attentive and devoted parents. Susan from Northern California 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
This is the first of your videos that I watch to have an open nest-setting. Thank you for explaining the differences, e.g. concerning the weather, and for giving us this wonderful shot of a buzzard hovering in midair right next to the nest in the strong winds, that was amazing to watch!

Deep within my soul there is a beauty
A beauty which I kept behind a wall

I am bound by infinite love for The All
I am strong for The All to bear my duty
I am still I am answering the call
Soon there will be only beauty Soon all darkness will fall

I walked in pain upon these streets
Drinking booze and eating sweets
The sweets I put within my veins
Heroin was my sweet Insane
I had given up upon my life
For all I had was miserable strife
One day an hour past the night
LO and BEHOLD I saw the light
The light I saw lifted me free
From pain and drugs for eternity
I knew there and then I AM THAT I AM
Because in forgetfulness I forgot my plan
God gave me sweet remembrance
Since that day I always dance
I dance in the stillness of the Ball
I sing silently a Hymn to The All
I share my light with everyone
And happiness and joy I have become
I pray that we All see the Glow
That I once saw LO and BEHOLD
Now my purpose I can fulfill
Of my names sake I do God's will
Sam means messenger of The All
He showed me the light To answer his call
Now I AM walking upon the Path
I AM filled with joy and often laugh
My Heart is Laughing all the time
For All of God's love is sweet sublime
