I like what Pusha said about the whole fiction vs rap thing, that he is here to entertain. The Audience has to grow and look at rap as entertainment so it doesn’t get the scrutiny that it gets compared to movies. They’re doing the same thing but “rap” can’t talks about in a bad light and movies like the “Scarface” are praised.
Wow. They went DEEP. He has built such an ironclad persona as the cold blooded assassin that it has almost become bizarre to see Push show genuine emotion, but definitely understandable. They did their job; thus laying the legacy that will continue on- in both family and the many he inspires. 12 Jewels strong. 💪🏿👑

Push been that guy to me he just needs to drop more. Waiting those 3-4 year spans hurt him. If he drop 1/1/23 for instance, he should be coming back to drop at least the end of 24
@@blakshaeinc6175 Hopefully seeing how well he's doing now will motivate him.
Push is well spoken and this interview is about the most vulnerability you have saw him yet
Push is actually brilliant intellectually. People don't see it, but he and Malice are somewhat genius level cognitive process.
Showin a side of Push we were never privy to before.... thank you Lenard. Thank you Terrence.
I appreciate Cthagod for coining Adult Contemporary Hip Hop
Its 2022 we love Interviewers recommending rappers to go to therapy! Good Interview, incredible Album! Thank you to all parties involved
Respect to you both! Now we just need the album
I have to give it to cthagod for strategically changing the subject when needed. He could have continue to ask push about his family and let him break down like a baby for views(that’s where it was headed) but he chose not to….Respect.
I was thinking the same thing
Much respect to him for that
I generally hate when an artist say this is my best body of work and it’s trash. I believe Push when he say this is his best work. Can’t wait 🔥
He says it evey album loll. But I hope he's right
@@mr.j410 And every album is Great!
Lmao
That neck and wrist song isn’t that great. Hence my skepticism.
@@NguniPrince his songs need longevity like Daytona
This is the only rapper I’ve met in person. Randomly crossed paths on the train in the Atlanta airport. Much respect for his craft and his representation of the Middle East. Forever a top tier lyricist. Salute🏴🏴
I too randomly crossed paths with him in the airport. Super brief convo, but he was cool as hell.
Damn all these interviews this Album must be the greatest shit ever
It’s promo 😭😭😭
I like what Pusha said about the whole fiction vs rap thing, that he is here to entertain. The Audience has to grow and look at rap as entertainment so it doesn’t get the scrutiny that it gets compared to movies. They’re doing the same thing but “rap” can’t talks about in a bad light and movies like the “Scarface” are praised.
Pp
Push is slowly doing more and more interviews, it’s almost dry must be near
But I need it TODAY
4/22
@@CleansHaven Hellyah! Thanks for the update
My God this interview was everything. It’s every reason why I have always loved Pusha T.
Pusha T having a conversation with Charlamagne Tha God. Was needed. This means Pusha T is about to unlock new levels in 2022.
Wow. They went DEEP. He has built such an ironclad persona as the cold blooded assassin that it has almost become bizarre to see Push show genuine emotion, but definitely understandable. Loss of a parent is no joke. This was an incredible interview especially because it allowed us to see that side of him. Condolences to Push & the fam.🙏🏿 can’t wait to hear the new joint! Darkest before dawn is still his best work to me, it had the early feeling of that balance he talked about. I feel this new joint will be that on steroids.
WELL!!!🍷
Im so excited for this album :)
Being from the area I love seeing this interview. 2 up 2 down!!!
SALUTE TO PUSHA T. He has always been a man that exudes and earns respect. I been on the journey since day 1. Wheather in the streets, in business, or being real; his foundation for integrity remains intact. RIP to his parents. Outside looking in I would tell Push that he can ease his internal grief- just in his reflection as a man. They did their job; thus laying the legacy that will continue on- in both family and the many he inspires. 12 Jewels strong. 💪🏿👑
Beautifully said
It’s Almost Dry gone be fire🔥
Charlemagne’s growth is inspiring.
Love seeing all of our RAP vets still in shape and confident.
Damn he got me shedding a tear. I’ve been where he’s at.
Yow!! I wrote a comment on a post the other day about Pharrell. He’s the only producer, a composer that still implements bridges in the music he produces. He masters how to pull on your heartstrings and speak to your soul.
Facts
Push will for ever be goated !!
Love this interview it was impeccable. He had me shedding tears about his parents, He is so inspirational he's a strong King!
Me too. God comfort him and everyone grieving
I’m from South Africa and Pusha T is one of the amazing lyricist out there at least top 10
Bless up Push. Comfort and strength through your loss, brother.
Never thought I would hear Phish mentioned in a Pusha interview. Greatness recognizes greatness.
CThaGod ask all the right questions. A REAL JOURNALIST
Man it's so dope to see push vulnerable and growing, im excited for this album 🙏🏾
Legend!!!
Va stand up much love to the Thornton Family🙏
Push has been my favorite mc for a while so of course i tapped in...i still play darkest before dawn (which is a masterpiece imo) this was a dope sit down. I cant wait for this album
U gotta give Charlemagne his interview props. This was amazing 👌🏿
Salute Pusha T for the expansive mind. Salute C for the active listening and questioning :D
This was a good interview. Pusha definitely seek counseling because grief is real. Lost my mom April 2021 and I made the decision to seek professional help. We all grieve differently and I was good for 6mths then all of a sudden it me hard. Loved this interview. #757
Sorry for your loss 💞
I lost my mum September 2021 & I definitely understand how you feel. I have my moments when I’m “okay” I’ll never be okay but I’m existing...then out of nowhere I’ll have a breakdown & cry. I’ve thought about seeking counselling but I’m not sure. My heart goes out to you, by Gods grace we’ll pull through this pain 💕
Sorry for your loss.. It definitely is helping. take your time but in the event you feel you need it.. Please take full advantage..
@@blaqdiva35 Thank you for your condolences..it is greatly appreciated. You’re right, I’ll definitely look into it...I’m sure it will help me. Thank you again 💙
