I've been following Tay since around 2008-2009. When I first heard Reputation I was a bit hesitant to embrace it. Now it's by far one of my favorite albums and one of my gym go to's when working out.

Speaking as someone who has gone through a similar process before, whenever I see Taylor's performances throughout the late 1989/early Reputation period, I feel tremendously proud of her recovery from her eating disorder.
A lot of people may point and claim "fat" or "overweight", but eating disorder recovery is hard, and I can only imagine going through that in front of the world. You never know where and how weight will end up, so you're having to deal with a whole new body every day. In these performances, I see a girl who is reaching the end of her recovery process, waiting for her new body to take form and wanting to be comfortable in it. I'm just proud that we got to see her grow and become a stronger, healthier form of herself throughout this process.
