I think Kaylee will come back because otherwise Josie’s storyline about saving hope doesn’t make sense. All I read was that she was no longer a series regular.

Like she has to come back otherwise the storyline of Josie leaving, to then figure out how to save Hope wouldn’t be complete or make sense

The actress completely left the show. She said it herself. She broke the 6 year contract with CW.
