Its just not popular in South Korea because of the China Korea strained relations, but it's by no means a company that cannot afford to promote its artists. Woodz didn't get much promo back then because his group had to halt its activities amidst the Chinese hallyu ban, UNIQ was still a rookie then. His company sent him to smtm but his career as a rapper didn't take off. Yeah he got less opportunities than he deserved, but it was only because the time wasn't ripe then. As a fan, I agree that he's a multi talented artist who fought against the odds, but lol don't paint a false narrative of a small company.
I kinda disagree that yuehua is bad. Companies don’t really have a say in regarding artist going on shows or whether or not shipment comes on time. imo yuehua have given their artist many promotions throughout the year even though it might not be long/profitable. For example, everglow so far has two promotion per year plus promoting their side tracks every time even though album sales are low. They also have their own show during la di da promotion (second season of own show). If you follow woodz you know he has been consistently putting out his own music and high quality music videos. He has his own yt channel and ig too. He’s also really close to his manager base off of his videos. To me it seems like yuehua has a lot great staffs(base off of bts videos of yuehua artists). You can’t really say that for most mid tier companies. Yuehua is definitely putting their fund to good use and giving some artist creativity. Meanwhile all recent shows Lee Do Hyun participated in are all popular scripts ( 17 again, sweet home, hotel del Luna). To me it’s more like Korea isn’t recognizing these amazing talents than yuehua failing to manage their artist 🤷🏻♀️
