Maerua Mall is regional shopping center located in Windhoek, Namibia. It is owned by Oryx Properties Limited, a property loan stock company established in 2002 with a diverse portfolio in Namibia.
Expanded to more than double its original size in 2006, Maerua Mall is now the third largest shopping mall in Namibia and contains a number of retail outlets, including Ackermans, @home, FNB, Total Sports, Stuttafords.
Maerua mall lies opposite Centaurus High School in Windhoek. It is currently the most popular mall in Namibia. It is the one of the 2 malls in Namibia which contains a cinema and a Virgin Active gym. Maerua has various restaurants including Spur, Wimpy, Mugg and Bean and Dulce Cafe.
Maerua Mall opened its doors as one of the first shopping centres in Windhoek. It has more than doubled in its original size and has established the Maerua Mall area and surroundings as a distinctive business and retail node on the periphery of the Windhoek CBD. Maerua Mall has become a landmark shopping destination, owned and managed by a Namibian company, Oryx Properties Limited, and remains a pioneer in the Namibian retail shopping sphere.
