After knowing all this, the game is still so hard to play, absurd, and filled with suffering
I find comfort on this front by realizing that those who suffer under the gun of the rich who will forever need and want more have their role to play in this game, and the greatest thing you can do is honor the role they play in the game they are watching. This "watching" part pulls them out of the game whether they know it or not and if you know the person they usually respond with joyfulness when you come into the room. Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed and honoring someone else's role as they "watch" themselves play the game, is giving life to what you see, complete with free will. In turn the harmful stuff falls away and the player becomes transformed out of victimhood, and your vision of them changes to an active player.
Not sure I know what you mean, but knowing the rich suffer the same as the poor doesnt mean much to me, the rich have much more security

You can not, not partaking in it. You are doomed to play it since you were born. The game is also not made for npcs like us either, but for the players you serve the players.

Man I got sick (schizoaffective disorder) from taking every little detail in my life as a child as gravely serious. Now I’ve been locked up in a hospital eight years and become a optimistic nihilist: literally nothing in our little dramas matter. Just have fun.

If I have to fit into a certain row in society that would make me a fake .
Self realization(Truth realization/God realization) :- "You know it's a game yet playing for the sake of playing" means you're an enlightened being. This is the ultimate way of living...You're just going to be an absolute presence(no seriousness, yet fully involving with full clarity in whatever the karma you perform). This real way of living(absolute presence at the present moment) is bliss, ecstasy & enjoyable moment to moment regardless of whatever the drama happening around.
But I interpreted as like he said its a “bad” thing to realize it but yet doing it anyways (playing for the sake of playing it.) I do that but how do you not do that? How do you realize but also stop playing it? I do not know how to stop not playing it
You cant...but its not bad too, thats a progression n u cant force urself into not playing, it has to be natural n spontaneous as (your) knowing had happened

What i think is once we awaken and realise its a game we have to keep playing it but all a new by re- experiencing everything we took for granted while asleep
We also keep playing the game to learn to balance all aspects such as our ego that was in control for so long as well as bring our loved ones to light

I was literrally sick of stress, even had some organs removed due stress, until I started listening to talks from Alan Watts while under influence of psychedelics (5-MeO-DMT) I had an enlightenment. Since then there is not much I worry about anymore, I'm living more in the now than in the past or future, no longer afraid of death or being sick anymore and most of the stress I had has fallen away. My severe depression is no longer present and the need for opiates to control my pain and antidepressants were also no longer necessary. Some people don't like what I became, especially doctors and some close people, but I now see it is all just a big unnecessary game we're trying to play or is being played for us, and I'm done with this toxic game 😊 I hope more people finally get to see it. It's so liberating ❤

I was the most skeptic person that you could think of before all this happened lol, zero spirituality, not believing in anything, blaming myself and anyone else for everything that happened to me. It's been ages since I've thought about The Game. I suppose it's fitting I should lose it here.
If only Alan Watts could see New York on this very day (August 5th, 2023). Philosophy can, and wil drive an individual insane, but to me it is worth the risk in order to at least accept this realm. I don't know what anything, or anyone is TRULY. I don't know me truly. We must Accept the illusions of hope, but yet still practice hope that we may enjoy multiple sides of "reality". None of us is just "One something".

I’m a Woodstock veteran, not as old as Mr Watts but but part of the Beat and Hippie renaissance, we listened often to these lectures along with Ram Dass and many Indian enlightened gurus. These concepts have been alive and well for many decades and centuries. It’s a matter of focus and unlearning most of what you’ve been conditioned to believe.
