A few weeks ago, I started using UA-cam polls to solve a Rubik's Cube using my audience's help. Here's how it went, and what I learned from it.

Here is the thing Brody : When you said that you were surprised by how most of the people voted for the option which gives you a bad last layer case, I thought that you would want me to select which case I would solve if I was solving that case rather then which option I thought was the best. As many of us do not do look ahead and solve on white cross, we selected the option of what we would do on a normal 3x3x3 solve. This video is amazing, but I think you misunderstood most of us.
Our hardwork finally paid off :D
I feel like there should be a 3rd group- those who watched the videos and gave it some thought but was too lazy to actually do it on a cube lol
people don't want to choose the option that helps you out the most, they want to make it as hard as possible.
I think there a 3 groups. The last group that doesn't look at the video and just picks whatever. The group that tries to find the best solution. And the group that says what they would do in a solve.
You should do the same thing but do one poll for each move. So each poll would just be R,L,F,B,U,D or something like that. It would be way harder and idk if we would even be able to do it

The biggest thing that people talking about UA-cam poll results tend to ignore is that YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR VOTE, so most of the time people just select 1 option randomly and then just choose the most popular one
