Dang this made me thankful for my regular loom... I will never take it for granted. This is way too many steps which seems way more stressful and time consuming. Glad you enjoy it though.
I’m so happy I found this video. I bought an endless loom a while ago, and the printed instructions seem clear enough but I seem to learn best when someone is actually showing me a process. I did my first bracelet yesterday and I have to say that I was SO happy to get all the frustrating stuff out of the way so I could actually fully enjoy the weaving process without worrying about how I was going to finish it off!
Thanks Susan! I'm with you, written instructions are nice but there's no better way to learn a tool like this then holding the object in your hands and watching someone else demonstrate it. Glad we could help
Wow. Can't wait to get started. I make bracelets up to 3" wide with 10 or 11 Delica Myukis, and weaving 35 or more warp threads into the finished item at completion has been enough to make me want to quit!. Then, having to attach the clasp, after completing the warp finish sometimes making me just want to give up. I think I can handle the timely set-up to avoid all the finish weaving!
Oh, Kat. I've always appreciated your videos. Instructions are clear and complete. Easy to follow.Your camerawork is awesome. But, I have to say I have an even greater appreciation for what you present to us. I just watched about 13 minutes of another company's video about this loom. I had to quit. They jumped all over the place. Camera was so close to the loom that I couldn't see what they were talking about. I know I probably should have just kept my mouth shut, but I fear that I'm getting too old to care. Thanks for all that you do!
I’m really not sure why people are saying this loom looks over complicated, I’m guessing it’s because of all the work you do before you start actually putting beads on the loom itself, but I think they may be forgetting that the vast majority of the time all of that work just gets left until the end when you have to attach and tie off etc, it’s just all switched around and actually looks easier as you don’t have all these excess threads to tidy away. I’ve been looking to see what to buy, and after narrowing it down I’ve just bought this one due to this video (so sales strategies do work girls)😉 but I am going to buy the Jewel loom as well, as it’s super affordable and if I decide to stick with one I’ll sell the other, or I may like both, who knows. So thanks girls for another way of helping me part with my cash 🤗💎💸
Finally watched this video ALL the way through. I can see pros and cons with this loom. Depending on what type of beader you are if this loom will work for you or not. As for me, I don't think I even want to try this loom at all.
This loon seems to be what I'm looking for. On the box it shows you can use this to make a wrap bracelet. Any videos coming in the future to illustrate this technique? Thanks for all your wonderful videos.
Thank you for this easy to follow tutorial. I have the normal loom, plus Rickys loom, plus the endless loom, the wrappit. Loomplus.one other whose name I forget! I came into a small amount of money about 5 years at so, being disabled and getting worse I thought I would buy craft stuff while a) I had the money and b) could still get out to get the equipment. I probably have more heads than our local craft storellll.
Until your video I did not understand this loom. I'm not good at off-loom weaving but you made the square knot very easy to learn. I own the Rick and Jewel loom, but had a problem add clasps. Love this one since the clasp goes on first. You also sold me on this loom and I purchased one. Beadaholique had 20% off this loom this weekend. Can you make a necklace with this one?
I've been beading for years and have used Rick's Loom many times. This Endless Loom looks great, but there is no mention in the video about sizing for your wrist. How do you know you're making the right size for your wrist. I have a 7" wrist. How would I do that? Thanks so much for your help!!!!
Sorry I missed your question Susan. The Endless loom uses sizing rods, I go over how they work at 1:30 in the video. Each is marked with the sizes you will need.
Wow! What a cool loom! Of the ones you've tried, which is your favorite? I like the Rick's Beading loom because of the fewer threads to have to weave in. But this one looks very similar but a different way of starting and ending. Thank you for sharing!
I do like the Rick's Beading Loom as well. I always choose my loom based on how I prefer to finish a particular piece. The Jewel Loom is great as well. I am always looking for a loom that packs easily because I love to take my work on the road with me.
@@beadaholique I don’t know I don’t have a beading loom yet but I’m thinking of saving up for one but I wanted to get your opinion on it first I don’t know which beading loom I should get to start with for beginners
I agree with this comment, when I first saw it I was not impressed by the woman who was showing this loom, she was really bad and put me right off. Then I came across this demo and I could see how awesome this really was and I bought one. It really is easy once you start your projects take no time at all to finish I love the no strings at the end as well...:)
Think this a great loom, however, wonder if those elastic bands stretch far enough for the longer lengths. Enjoy all Beadaholique videos, have learnt a lot thanks.
This seems like a pretty interesting loom...but I do have a few questions. I'm really new to the beading scene, but this particular loom is the kind where the measure of the bracelet is predetermined, no? So, then, how exactly do you measure out how much thread you need? Is it determined by the dowels you pick out at the very beginning? I'm sorry, but I feel a tiny bit lost on the measure bit. The actual process I'm getting, but the measure set up bit is what I'm a little lost at. The bracelet shown here that you've created seems to be about 7-8'', I think, or somewhere close to it at any rate. How would you measure it if you wanted to say make a longer or shorter bracelet? Switch out the dowels? This isn't totally related, but I have to ask: In you personal opinion, which do you prefer? I've watched another of your bead loom videos and the other one was a much different loom than this one and then I watched this one. So it got me thinking! ^_^'
We sell the Endless Loom kit in our online store, here's a link: beadaholique.com/products/deb-moffett-halls-endless-loom-weave-bracelets-with-no-warp-ends-to-tie-off-1-kit
I love your videos and I love beadaholique. I bought the endless loom When they 1st came out and I just got it back out again and now I remember why I put it in the closet this is too much stuff to do to get ready to do a dang bracelet An hour to do the clasps It's not even fun anymore I'm just tense and tired of beading. I thought I would never say I'm tired of beading.
From our experience with it the Endless is definitely best for folks who want pieces that finish completely clean with no ends. It's an unusual approach for sure, but it has a unique specialty. If you're looking to get re-inspired check out our looming playlist. It's mostly Jewel loom projects, might be more relaxing: ua-cam.com/play/PLdGWVJ-tb1bFe9VgdksRZ7H3MzQiffh5g.html
Beadaholique ok but I want to tell you that it is absolutely no reflection on beadaholique y’all are awesome I especially like the woman who does the video and many more videos I don’t know her name but I recognize the voice
Thanks Tamie, that's so sweet of you to say! This video is one of Kat's, she's our lead designer and stars in all our videos these days while we're producing these videos at home. Thanks again for the kind words, we're so glad to have you watching!
Beadaholique yes ma’am thank you so much for your response I have the jewel loom and the baby jewel loom that I love, especially the baby loom. I have been doing a lot of peyote stitch lately and I decided to do some looming so I won’t get burned out. My baby loom is already strung lol I want to tell Kat that one reason I like her so much is because one of the first videos that I saw with her demonstrating, she fumbled a little and was kinda laughing in an “oops” way, it made me feel so much more comfortable that it’s ok to mess up and it’s not that serious I found it very endearing.
Oh she'll love to hear that, I'll let her know. We've talked a lot over the years about making these videos approachable for people learning new techniques, and I think a big part of that is not editing out mistakes and pretending like we're perfect. If it's something people can learn from we like to leave it in.
As of right now the manufacturer has made rods for a 7 inch bracelet, and that is the smallest size offered by them. If that changes we will update this video and product listing.
have someone make you smaller set of rods out of dowls rods from the hardware store? also works if you want longer peices like a belt just make longer rods,
Right? The 6/0 seed beads are just cute. We haven't had a chance to do much with them lately but we've actually got a kit using 6/0s coming up later in the week, keep your eyes open!
@@beadaholique I know I have seen the inventor make a triple wrap bracelet on this loom, and I believe it was done with leather. She anchored it somehow (on one end, maybe?), and angled the cords diagonally so that they wrapped the loom three times, using the appropriate sizing rods for ~1/3 the length desired. She must have anchored the other end somehow as well (diagonally and 3 turns away from her starting loop closure). Knowing this could be done, and also seeing how easy it is to make stretch bracelets on this thing with the bands that are available, made me decide to get this loom....eventually! ;-)
I love how this loom works. I've done several pieces on it now but I do have one common problem. I'm using 11/0 delicas and D Nymo. Most of my designs are about 20 rows wide. When I get to the last loomed row, the starter piece is arched. The first and last couple of beads on the starter piece are touching the last loomed row but the center beads are still a row away, at least. And as hard as I try to keep all the tensions even, the starter pieces never mesh well with the loomed work.
Yes, my first thought was tension. Does it have any effect when you loosen the tension and let the piece relax a bit before completing it? The nymo can stretch a bit as you work.
I have tried, on each piece, to take it off the loom a couple of rows before reaching the end. Thanks so much for this video! That was a big tip :) The last 2 rows barely fit, even after relaxing and usually I have to leave a row out and really work with it to draw in the center. I wish I could post a pic here :( It was easy on my first couple of pieces to leave a row out as they were a solid color. But this last one was a pattern. Not a great finish. I've even tried working my 2 starter pieces without the clasp and doing the slip stitch to 'clasp' them just to try to make it curve less. It still pulled on the end I was working toward.

hi i see you use slon thread. Can you use any kind of thread? im a big fan of fireline and beadalon 19 & 49 strand beading thread. Can they be used on this loom? also what is the best stretch cording for this loom?
We actually use NYMO Nylon Beading Thread Size D for Delica Beads. Fireline or Beadlon may work but could be too stiff. We do not suggest using a stretch cord.
Yes it's possible to tie off your thread and add new thread using the same method as with other looms. We have a video showing how to do it. The video uses a jewel loom, but technique is the same on an endless loom: ua-cam.com/video/YAyl_S53Twg/v-deo.html
This is a limited loom. The only positive I see is using it if you travel and are used to a loom, however, she would of been halfway through the bracelet by the time she set everything up. Makes no sense to use this so called loom. Correction, she would of been done with the bracelet already. Buy a 10.00 steel loom, much faster and you actually start and finish on it.
Also, the smallest tension rod broke about 1" down. There was a flaw in the wood. Another issue is that the top and bottom parts are not aligned with each other.
VirgoMoon9675 omg have u ever used the traditional looms? Trust me, this is way better, and u can use it anywhere. It is a fabulous idea. Try it with the elasticity cord. O wow. 😸
I hope this doesn't sound rude because it is not meant that way..but you really do not need a loom for this bracelet. I'm still having trouble getting on your website..it still says unsafe...which like I said before I have shopped there more times than I can count!! Thanks for sharing!
I suppose you're right, it doesn't strictly need a loom :) We do like to show as many different techniques and tools as we can though, showing techniques in slightly different variations is a good teaching tool. Everyone seems to learn these things a little differently, some want written instructions or diagrams, some need a video from a certain angle, so we just keep keeping at it I talked to our customer support team about that warning and they say they've seen it pop up for some customers whose web browsers haven't been upgraded in awhile. If you're visiting us using an older version of Chrome, or perhaps Internet Explorer or Safari, you may need to upgrade to use those program's latest security features.
Yes my MacBook needs some TLC.I changed the hard drive myself and not sure if I partitioned it correctly! I have other Tablets and my phone...I just love watching a video and then popping over to shop for stuff. Thanks for checking for me. I do love when someone creates something cool and different, like this loom..my husband has made me several looms. Love you guys hearing your voice and watching your videos, is like visiting with a friend to me!!!
Thanks Deborah, that's sweet to hear. We love knowing that people enjoy watching these so much :) Nice job putting in the new hard drive by they way, I've done that on a few MacBooks and it can be a pain. If you got it to boot though it sounds like you managed the tricky part. Even if something's off with the partitioning I wouldn't expect that to mess with your browser. Check and see if you've got the newest version of Mac OS X the MacBook can run, and then see if you're using the latest version of your browser that will run on that OS. That's probably all it needs.
I'd like to know how this loom can be used with a pattern? Since you add the clasp first, you need to know the final number of rows before starting your piece, so that the ends match. I guess you need to do a first piece like you did, without a pattern, with the same beads, and then you would be able to plan a pattern using the right number of rows.
You hit the nail on the head. That is exactly what I would do. The size will depend on the beads you use so I recommend using a sample piece to guide you.
If you measure the clasp when it's closed and subtract that from whatever size bracelet/spacer you are using then that will give you the length of the beaded section. Then you can use bead charts you can find on the internet to find out how many rows make up an inch in the size bead that you're using . Multiply those two numbers together and it will give you how many rows for the beaded portion.
Beadaholique that’s what I thought after making a few bracelets when I first got this like a year ago or more, depends on the size of the beads, I haven’t done anything on it for like a year now because of that,, so your saying to do what?
@@CharChar876 The set up for this specific type of bracelet is rather long. The difference is that you are adding the clasp at the beginning instead of the end. All in all, this would not be any slower than a normal loom.
I know this video is 7 years old... but I still wanted to give my 2 cents to this This loom seems to have it's good uses for many projects, but it's also limited in a way. You can only do 7 to 9 inches long projects and the width is also limited. Maybe if you can craft your own, you are able to fully customize it for your needs.
Why do you have to have such a difficult loom....half of the work you already did with the needle.....so much for the rubber bands.....make life easy and get an easy pezy loom to make bracelets..
Nice thing about the endless loom is that the pieces it makes end so cleanly. You don't have to tie off any stings and that gives you a wider variety of finishing options. You're right that it's definitely trickier to learn than something like a jewel loom, but it has its uses.
This loom definitely adds a lot of extra steps but it does have a few advantages for specific use cases. It's even more compact than the Jewel Loom, and it lets you loom pieces that are a bit longer than that and other compact looms. Still, we've done many more Jewel Loom pieces over the years than Endless Loom pieces. Simplicity does count for a lot.
Fantastic demonstration except next time would you please go little bit slower and explain a lot better. For those of us that are brand-new to it your video just moved too quickly.
The endless loom is pretty finicky, if you're looking for an easy loom to get started with check out our video on the jewel loom, we use these all the time: ua-cam.com/video/NubdcBZIXns/v-deo.html
This loom can be pretty tricky compared to most of the others we carry. It's good at what it does, but if you're looking for a loom that's easy to learn I'd recommend the Jewel Loom, it's been the favorite in our design space for years: ua-cam.com/video/NubdcBZIXns/v-deo.html
One positive thing is, you won't end up putting off adding the clasp when you are done with the bracelet.
Kathy Trombetta this is true.

We're still looking for a good phone app for loom patterns. Does anyone else have any recommendations?
seems like a lot of extra work
lewis irvineضد
I was think that too!
That made me LMAO I felt the same way
Could u please tell me how much it may cost and where to get one in the 🇬🇧!!
Hi Lisa, we can ship to the UK. You can see the loom on our site here: www.beadaholique.com/deb-moffett-hall-s-endless-loom-weave-bracelets-with-no-warp-ends-to-tie-off-1-kit.html

A pro threading that SIZE 12 needle!
But why use the 1/4th dowel?
Where can you get the clasps!
You can find the clasps here: www.beadaholique.com/silver-plated-tube-clasp-16-5mm-two-rings-strands-4.html And here: www.beadaholique.com/22k-gold-plated-tube-clasp-16-5mm-two-rings-strands-4.html
hi i see you use slon thread.
Can you add weaving thread if you run out? If so, how?
I have a 5-1/2" wrist. I don't like my bracelets to hand loosely. Can the length be adjusted to make a 6" bracelet?
Regrettably, the shortest length you can make is 7". Thanks for watching.
Beadaholique Guess I won’t be making this one.
How would I make a smaller bracelet? About a size 4 1/2?
Buy a dowel rod and cut it to size
Are there threads that stretch like in some bracelets?
You can find our stretch cord here: www.beadaholique.com/catalogsearch/result/?type=simple&q=stretch+cord
i like it 😍
Also, the smallest tension rod broke about 1" down. There was a flaw in the wood. Another issue is that the top and bottom parts are not aligned with each other.
You used Nymo because it stretches and Fireline wouldn't?
I am glad to confirm. You can use any beading thread with this loom, including Fireline.
not bad of an invention :)
Why is it called "endless"? Seems quite finite.
I was just thinking the same thing.
It is kind of cool though!!
The process is to long but appreciate your hard work
This product seems awfully tedious with a whole lot of extra work and set up involved. I'm not really sure I see the point of it.
VirgoMoon9675 omg have u ever used the traditional looms? Trust me, this is way better, and u can use it anywhere. It is a fabulous idea. Try it with the elasticity cord. O wow. 😸
Very beautyful. :3
Way to time consuming for me . You are unable to make a wrap bracelet using this.
But good job in explaining how too use.
Everyone seems to learn these things a little differently, some want written instructions or diagrams, some need a video from a certain angle, so we just keep keeping at it
I talked to our customer support team about that warning and they say they've seen it pop up for some customers whose web browsers haven't been upgraded in awhile.
We love knowing that people enjoy watching these so much :)
Nice job putting in the new hard drive by they way, I've done that on a few MacBooks and it can be a pain.
Endless set-up...
WAY TOO LONG A PROCESS!
Nice demonstration, but I would never buy this thing.
why?
The set up takes way too long.
i see, I'm retired, all the time in the world. Haha
@@CharChar876 The set up for this specific type of bracelet is rather long. The difference is that you are adding the clasp at the beginning instead of the end. All in all, this would not be any slower than a normal loom.
it seemed very awkward to use till I watched this video. Thank you
I know this video is 7 years old... but I still wanted to give my 2 cents to this
This loom seems to have it's good uses for many projects, but it's also limited in a way. You can only do 7 to 9 inches long projects and the width is also limited. Maybe if you can craft your own, you are able to fully customize it for your needs.
Nope, not for me.
Nope. Good demo, but WAY too much setup work. I'd rather weave in threads.
I'm sorry but this is way too many steps to make a bracelet. I'll stick with my regular loom which is so much easier!
I agree I can't even watch all of this jeez.
Thank you, Kat. Not for me, though. Wow.
Monique de beer
Fantastic demonstration except next time would you please go little bit slower and explain a lot better. For those of us that are brand-new to it your video just moved too quickly.
What a complete waste of time. Ordinary peyote, off a loom, is less complicated and faster.
I'm
whatever its too complicated
The endless loom is pretty finicky, if you're looking for an easy loom to get started with check out our video on the jewel loom, we use these all the time: ua-cam.com/video/NubdcBZIXns/v-deo.html
ث
The beads are six/zero, “O” is a letter.
“Oh,” Deborah, really? 😳
Not good for beginners
This loom can be pretty tricky compared to most of the others we carry. It's good at what it does, but if you're looking for a loom that's easy to learn I'd recommend the Jewel Loom, it's been the favorite in our design space for years: ua-cam.com/video/NubdcBZIXns/v-deo.html
