You should take Braxton to attract and rent one out and ride with him and let him get some passes in with you in there so he can get comfortable that way he can run it when you go to the to the races

He has a trans brake. Don't need line lock.
Line lock is used during the burnout. A transbrake and a line lock are used for 2 different things.

Things like that are to be expected when you’re still learning the car. I know you’ve had it for a couple months but since you didn’t build it yourself. You probably should mount the switches the way you would have done it had you built it and use switches with safeties that would prevent you from turning something on/off on accident. Better luck next time!

if there is anything to give you a thrill it is power/torque related, and to get air time with the front end, then that is serious torque especially when an engine or more so a v8 is not that light in weight either.
