Ah, you've found the Demon of Hatred, the "forget everything you know" boss. Not literally, not quite, but much like phase 1 of the Guardian Ape he's basically a Bloodborne boss hanging out in Sekiro-- footwork is *critical*. A few bonus points if you can guess who he is.
From what I gathered fighting Owl 2, it didn't feel vastly different. Unless it changes drastically in phase 2 that is
@@Solomax_ Spoilers, good sir. :) He's recognizably the same character, but he both gains and loses a substantial number of moves, becoming a bit less-treacherous (no anti-heal bombs and I think no poison) but also a fair bit stronger.
That charging thrust he does is something you, also, can learn, by the way, as is the followup if it connects.

Good job with all of those bosses! Basically all that's left for you are demon of hatred, owl (which is different enough that it's worth putting in your next vid imo) and then going and see Kuro for what is basically the last part of the game.

To unlock the "good ending" you'll have to visit the girl at Senpou Temple and do some steps. If you want that ending its best to look it up since it's pretty complicated.

Had that in my comment as well.... until I realized that I f**ked up and should've mentioned it last time. It's unavailable once you kill the divine dragon. Sorry Max, you get one of the bitter-sweet endings even when you beat Owl again.
@nickfrost4518 yeah I could never remember when you get locked out of it. It's unfortunate since I imagine he'll only do one playthrough so getting the "best" ending would've been worth the trouble. Of course the word best is pretty subjective in a Fromsoft game anyway.

6:30 That's how I sound each Friday night hahah. Anyway great work as always Max, I believe you're ready to wipe out all remaining bosses. Yeah the headless and shichimen don't drop prayer beads but the other mini bosses do, and some of the beads are hidden in secret areas. Find a pot noble, preferably from Hirata, buy 3 items and he'll give you a solution for the great carp. You might as well get the anti-burn gourd from the same pot noble unless you feel like grinding for the fire umbrella. Laurence.... sorry, the demon of hatred isn't the toughest boss imo he's more of an annoying endurance test that throws you off since he plays like a Bloodborne boss.

Congrats on getting to the endgame! These three remaining bosses are some of the most difficult in any fromsoft game and the last boss took me longer to beat than Malenia (which was about 4-5 hours) so good luck with that! ;D
My first time fighting the final boss took me 6.5 hours, I remember because it was before I had a flight, was thinking I'll get him in 1-2 hours have a few hours of sleep and leave for the airport...slept on the plane

Okay, so right now, you have 3 bosses left. Owl part 2, Demon of Hatred and the final boss. I recommend you beat the Owl part 2 first then the Demon of Hatred, and then the final boss. Tip: the final boss is where Sekiro lost his arm.

@@Solomax_ now that I've seen the whole thing; even despite the audio issue I really enjoyed this one. The subtle audio jokes were great, like the bite of 87' on the treasure karp. Not sure how many caught that, but I sure did.

So you're in the endgame now;) The demon is a very Dark Souls/Bloodborne-like boss, but I really love him. And the Owl(Father) is probably my favourite Boss in the base game (maybe together with the Endboss). But I wonder.. did you even listen to the eavesdrop of the Drunkard and the Shinobi-guy? You didn't react to what they said (and were surprised that you have to fight the Owl downstairs)
Nah I skipped past it, thought they were going to notice me. I was scared.
