- Gypsy Rose Blanchard is sharing the complicated emotions she has about Mother's Day. The former inmate, who served more than eight years in prison for her role in the murder of her abusive mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, opened up in a candid TikTok on this year's holiday and shared how she chooses to remember Dee Dee while honoring the women who have served as loving maternal figures in her life. "What I choose to feel on Mother's Day regarding my own mother is that I think the best of her," the 32-year-old said in part. "I think about the good times, I think about her as not what she did to me but I think about her as a person. I think that, 'Was she a good mom?' No. 'Was she the best mom in the world?' No. But she was still my mom, so what I choose to feel about her, whether that be guilt, anger, grief, resentment, whatever, that's mine to feel."

Genuinely how? Her mother was slowly killing her. She was naive. Scared. She had ni clue how the world worked and was desperate for a way out. Anyone would be in that situation. You're a horrible person for not having empathy towards a victim who was horribly abused her whole life.
@Lili-dv61m Have you researched exactly what you are talking about and making an attempt to defend? I am not being sarcastic. But you need to do a deep dive into ALL of the evidence. Not just watching a couple documentary shows in which Gypsy was clearly in charge of the narrative or a made for tv Hulu miniseries that was loosely based on a story. May I suggest starting out watching the unedited footage of both Gypsy’s and Nick’s police interrogation videos in their entirety. Then watch the unedited footage from Nick’s trial in its entirety. Then read all of the unedited and complete text messages between Gyp and Nick and Gyp and Dan. Then watch all of the video footage Gyp sent to Nick- ( in particular the one of her demonstrating to Nick, while standing beside Dee’s bed how Nick is to use the 🔪 to do the deed effectively. Then watch the Becca Scoops video. Then watch all the neighbors being interviewed and what they had to say about the matter. Then get familiar with Gypsy’s authenticated medical records. The GWN . Watch the interviews with the first responders and the corrections officers when Gyp was being detained and also during her incarceration. There’s a plethora of information about all of this if you have the desire to educate yourself about it. Like the police officer who made the initial comment after the crime was discovered said, “Nothing is as it appears.” It wasn’t THEN and it certainly isn’t NOW. That’s why millions of people who once supported her are not doing so anymore. Because they actually educated themselves about it. The media and Hollyweird is making money from this. Do you think they are actually telling the whole story?

Research malingering and what it actually is. There is a bi difference. Gypsy wasn’t born to be famous as she has said of herself in the past- she was born to be a grifter and a con artist. It’s in her dna. Gypsy was diagnosed with a chromosome disorder in 2011. Research that. That will explain a lot. Dee was a con woman. But she wasn’t the monster she’s been made out to be.

It's easy for her to spin the story now that her mom is not alive to defend herself. GRB planned it and made it happen. She should still be behind bars, not walking red carpets. I had an abusive mother who has a severe addiction and I was taken by the state and became a ward of the state separated from all four of my siblings and guess what??? I didn’t delete her. I speak to her now and have been building a relationship with her. Many of us have had terrible childhoods. For heaven sake, my mother sold me to my great uncle to s.a. Me and my sister for money and we still didn’t do what gypsy did and no one has helped me along the way. I mean no one! I don’t have anyone that’s helping me face my teeth which I’m in constant pain but don’t have the $1200 to have it fixed let alone all the celebrity and BS that she gets. You should really really really wash the interrogation video and you will see who she really is not who she pretends to be.
