Great tutorial. I would make visible the "Update Task" button only in edit mode, and make switch the edit icon with close icon in edit mode. Better UX ;)
Make a video where you show do weekly tasks like buy milk, then show us how to do background tasks like comparing the last completed date to current date and if the set amount of dates passed uncheck the task and send a reminder to buy milk again, this would help explain so many flows for flutterflow
Thanks for the lesson. The initial value of the editingMode variable is set to false, but when I open the Details screen, the initial value is true. I can't understand if it's a bug in Flutterflow or something overrides the initial value of the field.
Thank you.❤ (But for me as a begginer - it so painful for my brain to understand all of that🥲 - just pure pain) [especially when it comes to build logic inside ]
Great video, how do we hide the "update task" button when in view mode of the task details and only show the button after the edit pencil icon button is clicked? Any help would be great or point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.
I'm not sure if you found a way to do it but if not, follow these: You need to turn on the conditional visibility of your button an then set it to: condition -> set the condition to the editingMode, then: first value is boolean equal to second value is true this way, the "edit" or "update task" will only be shown when editingMode is set to True, and hidden if it is set to False. I hope you find this comment useful!
Pleaaaaaseee how can I assign a task to a dropdown list person? Options on dropdown list doesn´t allow RefDoc nor ID variable so we can mix names and ID using options and optional values.
Anybody have there edit page toggle logic mixed up? Mine seems to be doing the opposite for some reason and I am getting mixed up on where I went wrong.
There is something about the way this is explained that makes it hard for me to understand. Especially because there is no project to clone in the description. When this account uploads, words are constantly emphasised and it's confusing to me. Love FF though
Keep up posting these great tutorials, guys!
Couldn't wait for the video to drop, so I already finished the app. 😂👏🏽 Amazing tutorials btw, keep it up guys. ✨ BEAUTIFUL. ✨
Great, finally Flutterflow becomes more and more versatile! Keep going!

Thank goodness. Really appreciate it.
[For Students] It is nicer to add [Navigate Back] Action at the end of [Update Task] Action (in both conditions)

It was my mistake. I didn't set the editingMode to false on page load action.
