Just an update, I went a day after and I had been wanting to buy some white or red Converse, and luckily Goodwill had some white ones in amazing conditions!!! I paid like $4 for them, I ended saving myself almost $50-$60 😭

I remember going thrifting with a friend on my b-day and she kept all the good things she was finding for herself. She didn't offer me a really good piece that of course I liked too and like I said, it was my b-day! Any thoughts on this? So yes, I now agree with your tip about going alone! I am re-watching this video to get some inspo since I am moving to a new bigger city in a few days and then plan on hitting up a consignment shop over there!
God I wish I had the patience (and was not a germiphobe). I literally live right by a Good Will and I've only gone in there once. But I did find a really cool denim vest.
I couldn't agree more with you on looking in the mens denim!! I've found vintage Calvin Klein, Levi's, wrangler, etc. Also, I always check the blouse + scarves section.. it's the best for scoring 100% silk items for cheap 😍
I can't speak for other body types but they fit me pretty well when I can actually find a small enough size (I'm a 24/25 in Levi's) It can be difficult finding them in a flattering rise and cut! It's definitely worth a shot though.. if you aren't happy with the cut of the jeans you can always turn them into cutoff's and then distress the hem a bit :)
I’m confused about the neck trick because high waist pants waists are smaller than low rise jeans right? So it can’t possibly work for every type of pants, can it? What kind of fit is this trick for?

Where I live 98% is old cheap clothes from stores like h&m and there are mostly old people’s clothes.. and not the good vintage kind.
My best tip for thrifting is go to thrift shops and consignment shop when they first open so that you have first dibs on on great picks.
