I have about 25 coats and at least 20 jackets. My husband has 2 and thinks I need therapy. I shall send him this video for clarity on the necessity for my many coats. Can’t thank you enough Trinny. Much love ❤️

My first trip to London was in 1998. I bought a black faux fur double breasted knee length coat from Camden markets for £21. I rarely wore it in Australia. Circa 2019, I’m living near London & wore it last night for the first time in 20 years. Glad I kept it.

So agree about the white coat. I have a vintage cream one I’ve had relined and new deeper pockets inserted. Love it. Monet used to paint, while smoking, in a three piece white linen suit. It’s a kind of look. Not quite pristine worn linen look all the Edwardians did.

And I thought I was the only person who loved coats this much. I love the transformative powers of a coat, every outfit looks better with a coat. I'm not at all wealthy and I don't work in the entertainment industry but I confess to owning more than 80 coats. I have always purchased the best quality coats I can afford and I rarely throw them away. I even have names for my favourites, from trenches to capes to the most glamorous vintage pieces I love them all❤️

RE Weights in leopard coat - you can get drapery rope weights by the yard/metre and just slide it into the hem. Snip a few stitches in the inner hem at the side seam and slide it all the way round, then restitch the holes. It’ll hang just as you’re wanting!
how tall is Trinny London? 5'9"? I am 5'10" and am so happy to find such beautiful woman who is so passionate about being unique. I have discovered her yesterday and got so much inspirations and feel motivated to revamp my wardrobe and skincare routine a bit. I feel like a sexy girl again ! I had never thought about having a coat collection as such. Usually when I wore one or two out I purchased another....Well, I have been collecting after listening to you. Last year I purchased a leopard coat and love it. This year I purchased the Zara pistachio coat-it looks great with my skin, hazel eyes and hair. I also purchased the blue belted hounds tooth coat from & Other Stories and love that. I think you are so right about having a "coat collection". I always used to have black, camel. Now I am excited to wear more colorful coats. People see us mostly in our coats and its so dreary in the cold winter(n US) that it is fun to add a bit of color. Thank you so much for the idea of a "coat collection".

I"m so happy I've found a lady who is as crazy about coats as me. I loved summers wearing just tops and shorts, but now I've started waiting for winters to buy and wear coats. Up to now I was a little bit nervous thinking about my obsession (as my friends thought about me). That vintage tweed Prada!! 🤩 inspired with the leopard print scarf!! Was so glad when she reached for it, I’d been eyeing it up in the background.
I love all of Trinny's suggestions and her style. I am only 5'4.5" and Trinny is quite tall. Any suggestions for online stores for coats and trousers for someone shorts? I find most Zara clothes too long.

There is something about the structure and gravitas of a tailored garment that makes life just right!
I enjoyed this so much! I'm obsessed with coats as well, I have so many but I don't own a black one. It is so difficult for me to wear black and I don't understand how people feel that it is an everyday basic colour. It's much easier to wear cream, navy or olive on a daily basis.
Love the Celine white coat with the four buttons. Stands out from the rest.

Thank's Trinny! Now I know I'm not the only one obsessed with coats. It's totally normal 😉. I confess I have about 30 coats 🤦♀️. I stopped counting. The only reason holding me back from buying more coats is the problem of space.

I ABSOLUTELY love watching these video's, listening to you both is like I'm in the room .. you're energy is addictive , it's inspired me to have a good look at myself and to lose the weight that I've gained these last couple of years - and unfortunately with weight gain comes less clothing options and reduced wardrobe attire as I now am unable to fit into 80% of my clothes😔 I wake up in the morning dreading getting dressed because I've SO little choice 🙉 , thank you

The grey coat from COS is beautiful! The buttons can be moved to fit better. Also, I think ARKET has some really great coats. This is my fav episode of all time!! ❤️

~loved your coats Trinny! The blue one is my fav! I've just invested in a trench coat & found at least 2 different ways to wear it,for work to look smart & then to wear it casually with a hoody! Honestly you can never have enough coats 😍
How I wish I lived in a moderate climate where a wardrobe of coats could be part of an outfit instead of just functional for weather (wet,cool,cold,freezing).
I have the opposite problem it is too warm to wear coats often:(

How is it that you look so amazing in everything you try on! OMG. ❤.
Tinny if you watch Emily in Paris, season 3 you will see some of the clothes you have worn by Emily herself. I saw your sequenced multicolored Zara dress, your metallic Baum and Pferdgarden coat in pink. In general it seems to me you create style picked up by other stylists and fashion stores resulting in fashion trends.e.g the half tuck now is been worn by everyone, it’s a trend. The gillets you love to wear, especially ones which were coats and you removed the sleeves, are definitely trending in high fashion stores. It seems to me you are a trend setter and that is just amazing and says so much about your sense of style.
T 33:55, the moment Trinny reacts to the suggestion of 'sequins' lol classic! Incredible incredible coat collection. Too many to name my faves, but the one your husband had bought you...omG it's exquisitely designed. Will always be just super-cool. Love it #bigtime. & the maroon grandfathery one... from the vid it almost looks dressing gown esque, which imo only rates it even MORE! XD Dunno why, but it made me think of old NY alt art-chic, kinda Jean Michel Basquiat...

I absolutely LOVE the long coats in Chanel’s fall 2019 ready to wear collection! I’m really hoping there will be something along that trend next year on the high street. So difficult to find lovely long coats when you’re quite tall. Love seeing this video!

Hi trinny all my life iv bought shoes clothes and bags it helped me during some very difficult times in my life I always got people saying why do you need all those things .cutting the story short I don’t listen ,you are the best because you love what I love style fashion for me it makes me feel good I don’t do it to pose off or to show off it’s me . It makes me feel good to look nice ,you have given me so many ideas as I think I hit a wall hitting 60 menopause weight gain etc has made me feel frumpy and stuck .you have made me feel much better thank you with love XP’s I still try to look good I now live in Greece great fashion the Zara shop is fantastic I’ll keep at it hahahah xx

The first and the last coat you showed, amazing! I don't own too many coats at the moment, but if I ever see a coat in the store, that looks like the one my parents bought me in 6th or 7th grade...I will HAVE to buy it. It was a steel blue wool coat with a very defined waist and I felt so great in it. The best coat I remember ever owning, which is sad, since I'm in my 50s. You would think I could have found another great one in the meantime, hahaha!
