Definitely feel motivated and confident in starting songwriting in Studio One after watching this serie. Thanks for sharing. Hope to see more of this in the future.
Cool shirt Dave!! Nice guitar tone...being an old analog guy in this digital world i still basically record my new songs like i would on analog,hehe...i guess i need to step up
This Series was really helpful Dave - Thank you 🙏. I am new to Studio One (actually moving from Logic to Studio One - That‘s why i bought your beginners Course) I also own / use Toontrack-Products (EZDrummer3, EZKeys2 and EZBass) which every product has a Arrangement Tool and even an own Chords-Track). There you have to do the work three times - and in the DAW again. Well, maybe toontrack will do this in the future in a combined arrangement-Module for all their products - and maybe this information could be in sync with Studio One Arranger and Chords-Track (which would be my dream), but not at this time. That's why i was really curious, how you manage all these 3 Products within Studio One Arrangement-Tools and Chords-Track. So, sadly this series won't be continued so far…but maybe with this approach, you might consider 1-2 more videos on this topic 😉 - Would be really great 🙏
Thanks for the feedback. I wont be doing more youtube videos, but there will be a new course coming early in 2024 on songwriting and production in Studio One so stay tuned!

Absolutely Love the vids

Awesome!!! Soon I’ll finally have something to mix .
Yes! once the song is finished, I'll provide the multi-tracks so people can mix the tune themselves.
Thank you Dave! looking forward to more video like this keep it up.
More to come!
Thx, very helpful as Always. But, why we cannot see the drum parts in the editor?
That's because I keep the drum parts in the EZ drummer VST until the very end of the song. Go back and watch Part 1 of this series.
Nicely done! Your workflow moves faster than mine because you know all the S1 shortcuts 🙂 I'm learning, tho 😉
You'll learn the shortcuts over time as well!

Thanks you!!
hey uncle dave , did you know you can extract the chords from the audio track to the chord track?
Yes, of course. I have not shown that in a video yet, but I will soon :)
So where is the next video…
Not enough people watched these videos so I am not doing any more any time soon. Sorry
