Who is Mahsa Amini?

- Опубліковано 26 вер 2024
- Mahsa Amini is a 22-year-old woman who was arrested by Iran’s "morality police" for not properly wearing her headscarf. She was taken into custody and died three days later. Since Mahsa's death, protests in Iran have blown up, with women burning their hijabs and cutting their hair.
Police say Mahsa collapsed while she was detained and died of a heart attack, but her family says she was perfectly healthy. Witnesses allege seeing officers beat Mahsa as she was loaded into the police van, and there are also allegations that she took blows to the head.
The United Nations has said they received a number of videos showing Iran’s morality police violently cracking down on women for not following hijab rules. They’ve called for an independent investigation into Amini’s death.

Even if they win some police might try to hide the fact that they are still doing it that also is an issue

Ah yes because a 22 year old woman would really die from a HEART ATTACK unprovoked or totally not put under stress at all and totally wasn’t murdered yea

“Sorry she had stage 4 cancer.”

Ah yes, as if getting ARRESTED for only a simple mistake wasn't bad enough? That right there is cause enough for a riot. And by past history, it's perfectly normal to assume the police did brutality beat her. Probably to "set an example" for her peers..
Actually getting an heart attack while being healthy is common than you think. You can get a heart attack even in a calm situation, considering her panic and anxiety while being in that situation it's not a big surprise. But ofc it can be the other way around where she was murdered. All im trying to say it that it's not impossible as you make it seem
@@lukeiamyourfather666 well I mean, considering the reported evidence of abuse on her body and the witnesses I'd say death by violence is a much more plausible possibility than a heart attack, sure she could have gotten a heart attack, it's not impossible, but it's very unlikely in this situation.

I got no words to describe how insane and stupid this is.
Edit: Religion.
I meant religion. I just thought some "cultures" do wear it but cultue wasn't the right term to use.
My apologies.
Girl, first of all hijab is not from a culture its from Islam (religion) ! And men shouldn't wear hijab only girls should. But what the police officers did was wrong. In Islam it's forbidden to force girls to wear hijab with violence. Those men don't follow Islam in the right way. What they're doing is very wrong plus hitting a woman is just disgusting and forbidden in Islam. I'm trying to be respectful but i just wanna say that that's not how Islam works. Also to the growing numbers of women who wear the hijab as a fashion statement more than it being an act of religious duty. It really defeats the purpose of wearing one on the head which is meant to conceal your beauty. So wearing one that looks like a turban/shower cap and having your neck on show and ears or having it sit halfway on your head with half your hair exposed too...really? Just don't wear one at all!
