It took 5 years for us to get to this moment! Remodeling the lake house kitchen was a project I honestly didn’t think we would do for 10 years, but when we realized we could reface our cabinets and renovate the space for around $7,000 🤯 we decided to take in the work ourselves! It really tested our skills and our ability to work together, but I couldn’t be happier with the result! What is your favorite part? Was it worth $7k?!

It would be very up to date if it was still 2015.
We had soffits in both bathrooms that needed to come out. We had to remove the whole ceiling. Previous owners had removed most of the kitchen soffits but reconfigured the ceiling. That too, all had to go.
Nothing more satisfying than filling the gaps with new drywall and mudding it all in!
