This was just fantastic!!! I really loved the work on the black paper and especially the page spread in the travellers note book where you used the glitter embossing - what a cool idea Barbara!. Such fun. Thank you very much for sharing.
It's definitely addictive, Patricia. What is it about grid journaling? No pressure. The "page" is only a couple inches, so not daunting. Perfection doesn't stand a chance on something so small. And starting it anywhere is so freeing. There ARE steps and you CAN do them in order. And, oh yeah, the steps are everything that we love to do in all their forms in our journals.
Barb that was an awesome video about grid journaling. I saw Laura's in a chat and thought that might be for me since I like small art. Alas, I got sucked into the mini book rabbit hole and forgot all about it. Seeing your video makes me think I need to write it on a To Do list so I don't forget. I especially loved the ones done on the white paper. Great video to introduce beginners to the concept.
Thank you so much, Vickie. Laura's work is soooo inspiring. Well everything she does is inspiring to me, but when I saw the grids, I was hooked. It's just a fun process, so put it on your list. Or let's have a Chatterday on zoom soon and get after it together.
M-E, thanks for leaving a note. Yes, definitely. Actually your comment spurred me to watch this video again, and it really was fun to do this. I've got to try it again soon. Really fun. I've been lost in the Zentangle challenges and haven't gotten back to paint.
Thanks for sharing. I love all of them. Such lovely use of shapes and colors. ❤️❤️

I’ve learned soo much today from this video. Thank you for sharing
Thanks, Sandy. I’m gonna go live with LIsa again on Thursday, 1:30 CDT. We’re gonna do some more. I’m going to try it with watercolors next.
This is so fun. I seem to be obsessed with grid journaling. You tags, etc., look so pretty!

Great video. I enjoyed our stream a lot, thanks for coming on with me.
Thanks so much for inviting me. I’m still adding the frosting to the ones we did on Thursday.
I must try grid journaling. So far I have been the plain Vanilla type. I need to get brave enough to stretch out...

You know, Lina, the HIMI gouache is your fault! Now I've got to learn how to use it. Lol. Thx for the great comments.
