The problem with Ermes is his wrist, Devon and Levan DESTROYED his wrist so his incredible back pressure gets neutralized by that.
If Devon would have more side pressure he would have definitely beaten Levan this time.

For me it's either Ermes or Denis. Denis's static strength is a key factor. Levan can't finish him quick i'm sure. At the same time though I think Denis needs to be more aggressive or he will still lose after a long fight. Levan is very smart and he will press or do the can opener like Devon did to beat him. You need to be aggressive to have a chance vs Levan. Another issue i see is that if Levan faces Denis, Levan will be very motivated for that match. It's the only match he has been looking forward to for years. He will probably take it mentally (->physically) bit more serious than opponents he has already faced. But all in all, iff Ermes manages to really improve his wrist strength then he has a solid chance. I'm talking about a 40% or more increase in wrist strength though. As i see it, those two are the only ones with Ermes being the favorite.
For Ermes to strengthen his wrist to the level of Levan and Devon would take years, hell, I think he was losing his wrist against Vitaly too, until Vitaly got gassed out. I hope Ermes pulls it off, but it is going to be so damn difficult.

Ermes back pressure is impressive but Denis had also impressive backpressure so i dont see it as something that too crazy and that massive diffirence.
The difference is that Ermes is young and his prs are rising over and over time by time.
Denis instead is full of injuries and the blood pressure problem doesn't allow him to lift heavy like he used to...

I can't decide who I want to win the Ermes vs Denis match. I'd love to see both Denis and Ermes against Levan but in all honesty, I think Ermes will be the one facing Levan.
