We love the Yeti, beast if a machine he may be but tbh that's what gets and we always get ppl looking & admiring him. Handles sharp corners no probs & that's without using the brakes, just easing of the gas and he just goes swiftly around. He also grips the country roads nicely, even better than the BMW X5 did that we had to borrow. I love driving in the snow nowadays, even tho mine is only a 1.2 but you wouldn't think it as he's so powerful, even leaves motorbikes and 4.4's standing. There's plenty of boot space for my daughters adult wheelchair and having 2 6' teenagers in back. We are always having the Skoda yeti, safest car ever made. And it's stylish, ok maybe not everyone's cup of tea - but without a doubt my family & friends love it
I am surprised that all reviews of the Yeti are saying that it is not good looking. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think it is very eye catching and has understated class.
Got a 1.2 S.E with a DSG gearbox and have to say its an amazing car because to put it simply, it does everything. Build quality is typical Volkswagen (Bomb Proof) The engine is a Gem and if you put the gearbox in sport you really can hammer down the road and worry some so called quicker cars and its so comfortable on a cruise, i did five hundred miles and was fresh and grinning when i got out. I really cant sing its praises enough, the only down side being is the fact its making me lazy because i'll use any excuse to drive it...
How's wind and road noise? The so called 'experts' say it's quite bad but if it was then it wouldn't have done so well in owner satisfaction surveys. I'm really curious.
What does he mean, 'No looker'. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This style is far more 'cool' to me, than some great monster saloon, or some sports car with its bum about 3 cms off the road.
This presenter talks about how ugly the Yeti is, and yet it looks like HE has fallen out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down! An ill informed review of what is a great car.

Agree! Long drives are much pleasant! Road noise is manageable. Good tyres and clean engine can keep you out of any annoying noise
