DIY Macrame Wall Clock | Macrame Clock Tutorial
Hi Macrame lovers...
Here I make macrame decorations for wall clocks or often called macrame wall clocks. Initially I made a square knot pattern along the circumference of the clock. Then attach the ropes to the edge of the square knot.
Make 24 petal patterns using the rope.
Following are the details of the materials you need to prepare:
1. 4 mm twisted cotton rope
a. Square Knot Circle Section
- 1 x 350 cm /137.79 inches
- 1 x 10 meters/393.70 inches
b. Pattern Section
- 94 x 100 cm /39.37 inches
2. Wall clock diameter 30 cm/ 12 inches
3. Scissors
4. Tapestry Needle
5. Wax Glue
6. Comb
7. Stiffener/White Glue/Fox Glue to stiffen the fringe
If your wall clock is smaller or larger, you can add or reduce the number of straps in the pattern section in multiples of 4.
The final result of this macrame wall clock measures: 53 cm in diameter
The knots used to make this macrame wall clock are:
1. Square Knots
2. Endless Falls Knot
3. Lark's Head Knot
4. Berry Knots
5. Double Half Hitch Knot
