Sir.. is only studying from marrow as a primary source of learning enough to get a good hold on the subject. Without reading any textbooks ?

Bro, I don’t think any teacher would ever tell you to not read the main text book. And regarding the primary resource, either marrow or textbook, it depends on individual level of understanding. Some can understand by reading, some understand by listening. Some do both and still don’t understand the basics, and some learn from experience only. So it totally depends on how you understand things, try every method and see.
