This mall really needed a facelift glad to see the owners taking pride in this mall it's been a long time coming.

We all talk about wanting new restaurants, then Hash House goes under. People in Vegas LOVE Hash House. Malls across America are going under, if we want ours to survive, we need to support it. So glad they aren't letting this one die. :)

Very nice. I didn't realize Arby's and Hash House were closed.

It would be so nice to get a fine dining restaurant - seafood, sushi here somewhere

I'm glad to find this channel. Next episode you've got to cover the 3 donut shops, two that have opened and one still in the building phase.

Why would you have an open air plaza in a location where temps are over 100* 3-4 months out of the year and in the 20s to 40s for another 3 months? I think an inclosed area with heating and cooling and lots of windowed panels that can be slid aside as weather permits would be a heck of a lot better idea and attract more people.

When they built that underpass but didn't open an entrance to mall parking opposite it I had to wonder at what the planners were thinking, or not thinking. I sometimes think St.George and Washington have the worst planning departments in the country. They plan like a kid throwing his wooden block set into the air and build wherever they land. Washington County is exactly like Orange County was back in the '60s. Unchecked growth with no planning, just build wherever and whatever, then wait 20 years until it's a total mess and tear it all down and try to get it right this time.

Eatery's are great and all, but it would be nice to have a variety of shops that are relevant to the community, like children's clothing, men's wear, and with this horrible economy not the high-end, overpriced stores.

It was a mistake for Buca Di Beppo to close that location just as their new chef was creating much better dishes and bringing in crowds again. When I first started having lunch there I was usually the only one in the restaurant but by the time they closed the lunchroom was full whenever I ate there. Bad timing by corporate.
Speaking of bad restaurants that need some fixing, Red Robin needs someone to come in and straighten up that place, which has become terrible. The last time I was there I had a hamburger where the meat was overcooked to the point of being a hockey puck and the bun still cold from storage. It took me 10 minutes of trying to catch someone's attention before anything was done and the manager did nothing in the way of making the situation better. The changes the company made over the years, like a metal cup to serve fries in that leached away all the heat from the fries by the time you had just started on them. There was a Red Robin in Foothill Ranch, CA that was the same and corporate sent in a 'fixer' who made a huge difference and brought the level of food and service way up. Then they left to work at another location, and that store's quality went down again. Corporate sends the fixer back and snapped them to attention again but I moved before the fixer left again so I don't know how the place is doing now. I can say I wish they'd send that fixer to Washington's location.

The only exciting thing happening here is REI and they don't even disclose it? I don't understand why these things are so super secret. Build some excitement!!!! Jeez.

It's not REI, it's Big Al's out of Logan. They just announced it officially on Monday

So basically, not a whole lot changed from the video that was made 7/8 months ago. Two female stores in the new area and the chicken restaurant moved to Arby's. We already have two southern inspired chicken places in town. Is there going to be anything for guys or are we going to be left in the dust like ALWAYS?
I'm not knocking your video dude, just disappointed with the mall again.

Really really really snobifying and ruining this area of Southern Utah making it no different than the places most people fled from or don't want to go to. I know I'll be changing my travel plans for this year and/or next to "AVOID" St. George.
