    I feel like no one really takes into account the effect that loud neighbors can have on someones mental health. My neighbors play loud music constantly, they're actually doing it right now and its midnight, and its caused a migraine and it makes me very anxious and upset. If u play ur music loud enough for ur neighbors to hear from their own home, I dont really think ur the victim when u get arrested

    If I can hear the music you are playing in your home from inside my home… it’s too loud! Turn it down!

    You missed important point: distance. Sound pressure measured in decibels will decrease with distance. The law should include distance as well a decibel value in order to make sense.

    The sirens from the ambulances and NYFD are absolutely ridiculous. They are too loud. I think they do that on purpose to annoy residents. Every 15 minutes all day and night is unwarranted. Clowns.

    just play your music but don't turn it on too loud that I can feel the vibration over a block away and don't invite so many people that I have to go out of my way to take a different rote cuz your party guess park in the middle of the road or I can't find a part spot in my own neighborhood cuz your guess took it. also don't let your guess park in other people drive way like they own it.

    Hey, it looks like the law supports my idea about noise, which means I must be on the right track.😂

    Thats a nice looking neighborhood. She should talk to her neighbors before hand to be sure or test the sound range before the party.
    Music (no matter what it is ) played too loud, makes people in the party, talk loud too.
    Its really annoying.

    Learn about decibels before you say that. Like the guy said earlier, decibels are *logarithmic.* Rainfall is supposedly 50 dB. 55 dB has about 3 or 4 times as much power behind it.
    Also, there's a world of difference between the more or less white noise of rain and the structured and ever changing noise of music. Rain sounds are often used to drown out others and aid in sleeping, while the latter is intentionally structured to force attention to itself. Loud rain sounds can have a calming effect, whilst equally loud music would be stimulating and distracting. It's designed to be that way.

    Just don't live next to people with kids and your mostly sorted. Lol the Spanish girl, ... Great... thanks for you input. But that aside,, these pricks in this neighbourhood need to get a life. Sad acts.

      Living in Chevy Chase, they probably alreadt have a life . . . and a job to be at tomorrow morning. It's the other party that is inconsiderately disrupting that life.
      It's one thing to stick your nose into your neighbor's business. It's something else when that neighbor grabs your nose and drags it into their business. If people are being kept awake or distracted by your music, it is *you* who entered their life uninvited. This is why I use headphones almost all of the time.
      My music is like my sex life. It's personal and I (and you) have no right to share it with others without their consent.

    Shut up fireworks are extremely louder

    • @somexp12
      @somexp12 2 роки тому +1

      It is also illegal to posses or discharge fireworks in Chevy Chase. Regardless of that, you'd probably get a noise complaint if you were launching fireworks I'm the middle of the night and it wasn't New Years or July 4. Setting off fireworks all night will also keep people up.
