    Today we depart on a voyage from Split (Split) to Hvar island (Hvar).
    Island of Hvar / island Hvar is known as sunniest island of the Adriatic (349 Sunny days a year). The sun on the island of Hvar shines 2718 hours (compared with 2600 hours on average in the Adriatic).
    Many attractions, beautiful nature and mild climate make the island of Hvar attractive destination.
    On Hvar in a large number of lavender, which became a symbol of the island and the most popular souvenir from Croatia.
    Island of Hvar - the longest (68 km) island of the Croatian coastal area is famous for its wonderful climate. Hvar is the island of grapes, olives, lavender and numerous springs. Here was found the oldest in Europe bas-relief with the image of the ship.
    On the island of Hvar and is Europe's oldest public theatre was built in 1612 on one of the squares of the city, the Cathedral built in the Renaissance style with the original bell tower, a rich sacristy and paintings of the old masters.

    At the entrance to the Harbor offers a unique view of a fertile hill on top of which a castle with towers rising above the famous town of Hvar with its beautiful palaces, which are rich cultural heritage of the island.
    Especially beautiful in the Hvar theatre, one of the oldest in Europe, St. Stephen's Cathedral, the clock tower and the building of the former Arsenal. This picturesque and vibrant city, with narrow streets and squares, full of life, occupies a separate place in the literary heritage of Croatia.
    The main attraction of the city is the Cathedral of St. Stephen (16th century) with a bell tower (17th century). The Cathedral is a work of the famous sculptor Juraj the Dalmatian “Flagellation”. This sculpture is the author's copy of a bas-relief from the altar of the Cathedral of split. To view exhibits of antique paintings and religious items.
    In front of the Cathedral in the square is the town well (1520). The supply of fresh water is difficult, therefore, to the wells on the island are treated with respect.
