I’m sure your designer has shared but for a person having many pools. Make sure you have enough concrete space in the sun around the pool to have some lay down chairs. Such a pain to add concrete later

Maxx I'd add in a dumb waiter lift to get food up from the kitchen to that outside upstairs patio (like you said you're having from the small garage to the storage space) to save it all bring carried up the stairs.
I see the small upstairs laundry but you could just have a laundry chute from any upstairs bedrooms to downstairs either into a cupboard with a basket in it or the laundry room itself

We just finished a house with a 18 ft patio leading to a pool. We did the same setup with the dining room table in between the kitchen and living room and it’s awesome. It left a way better flow on the back patio just like you have planned. Don’t listen to anyone is a great set up.
Outside looks awesome, I can't get with the double island myself but the open concept looks nice!
Max you should look into a nano wall for the windows on the back patio. It basically opens all the way up

Love seeing how the home build is already progressing. Wife and I are in the middle of ours right now as well. One thing we really loved on our build was making sure all of our light switches are smart switches (Lutron RadioRA3) so we can have certain scenes in different rooms.

Just as a parent with a pool. Considering the many access points to the pool be EXTRA aware with that upstairs patio / kids play room/area being able to have MORE than just the standard door lock on it. Once kids reach the age of unlocking doors you'll be paranoid of that upstairs door unlocking and them have access to an un-gated pool (unless you plan to put a gate on the pool)...but still have the lake access too.
More kids drown in pools each year than you would initially think.
Amazing house though, definitely inspirational.
Roller screens to close in the seating area are a must!!
We also had heat lamps in the ceiling outside to stay warm in the winter when watching tv outside

Looks like nice house, but personally it's too many odd shapes and walls. It drives me insane if a room has more then 4 walls/surfaces or has this odd pockets for built in/niche stuff. because to me it looks messy, if down the line you want to renew or renovate you still have to work with the same surface, instead of a clean 4 wall surface. That if to avoid more major ad expensive changes. Also I absolutely hate cleaning, so every surface that can collect dust is a big no. But it might be the Nordic/Scandinavian in me as its such a different design and living aspect then what's typical in US

There will be a video on David’s channel of him being able to do a muscle up. It happened when he couldn’t do a backflip. It happened when his form wasn’t good on the DB rows now he’ll prove he can do a muscle up.
