I think it would be cool if you did a round where we played alongside the spy. All we knew is who the spy was and nothing else, we had to try and figure out what the location with the spy.
I noticed how brandon says "You only have 34 seconds left." instead of "we only have 34 seconds left." Implying that he is not a part of the group and is singled out as the spy. Just thought that was interesting.
You totally took what he said out of context. "You only have 34 seconds left. You better ask a question". Only D has 34 seconds left to ask a question, not all of them.
He was on WCG Ultimate Gamer, was an old gaming competition show, first season I think. I'm not sure he really wants his real name thrown around so I won't mention it (you can probably find it if you're that interested) but he called himself Dante there. I think he was a coder or something during that time? Don't quote me on that, it's been awhile.
I love this layout, where we have to guess the spy. I got all correct, except for the first one, cause I thought it was Nico too because of his last answer lol. Was leaning towards Brandon before that.
Just wanted to point out that the editing with clips of James Bond and finally rescuing the plane at the end was very subtle and ingeniously creative, like a cool finishing touch. Also, it would be cool if there was a mode where the roles except for the spy and the location weren't revealed from the beginning, so you could see from the spy's perspective and guess for yourself what the location was.
Loved this format! You could also do a round where we're playing with the spy. We only know who the spy is, the other players role and the location are unknown so we'd have to guess the location too.
Hi guys, been watching the channel since day one though various accounts. Absolutely loving the new content and the "guess the spy" versions of spyfall are the best so far. I would love to see you create one on a 360 camera with all players in view at all times, so we can try to read the body language of people and truly have a good guess at who's the spy! Either way keep making some of the best UA-cam content out there and, I wish you all the best of luck with future endeavours.
The vineyard being east or west coast wasn’t a good question i live in Nc and a big thing about our state is we have a lot of vineyards and Nc is on the east coast
That Nirvana reference was probably the cleverest they've had for Spyfall! I'm a massive grunge rock fan! Nirvana are probs my favourite and I didn't even clock the subtle 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' reference until Cobain popped up on screen! XD Brilliant!
I've seen this a few times and it still erks me that Brandon sang ooh eeh ooh ahh ahh when chitty chitty bang bang came up. That's from the Rugrats. Kind of also how d pronounces vineyard.
You should play a custom game sometime located at your studio where the roles are Niko, D, Brandon and Alex or whoever is playing. It's going to be cool since the roles will be switched up between you
I can't believe you suspected Niko after you acknowledged how good his "What does it smell like here?" question. You knew exactly what it was referencing ya dolt D. Sure smells like teen spirit around here.
i prefer the mystery of not knowing who the spy is, and then the challenge of trying to work it out :D now please more TTT in this style of not telling us who is who
After that pyramids of giza answer, Brandon immediately looked at his phone, and then asked about immigrants. Was so sure it was him, but was plesantly surprised with D nailing the location!
I really love this game for these kinds of videos; Something about the simplicity of the game combined with the political detection aspects of this really gets to me. I sure hope the game gets more love from both the dev(s), since it has a few kinks to work out, and the community!
In the unknown rounds, you can make us follow one person. Make everyone else unknown but we know 1 person. We can follow the spy and try to guess the location.
Game 1 - Niko seemed guilty, just the way he half arses his answers sometimes Game 2 - Knew it was D. Him and Sam have this spy tactic of answering other people's questions not directed at them by acting like they know the answer and the location. Game 3 - Typical spy move from Brandon by repeating a question from an earlier game when they have no idea what to ask. Also, why was Brandon trying to act like he knew the location at the end? 'It was too obvious' '100% candy factory'... yeah okay m8
Here are my guesses: 1st: Rock Concert: I picked Niko because he was too suspicious, I was wrong. 2nd: Vineyard: I picked no one because they all gave good answers and questions, then D ended up getting the location right, it was confusing 3rd: Candy Factory: I picked Brandon because Niko, Alex, and D gave great answers so it cleared their names and Brandon was too vague, and I was right :) So 1 out of 3, not too bad.
BRUH on the vineyard round I totally ruled out Dee as the spy cause he asked the hand sanitizer question and I thought he was referencing the alcohol in hand sanitizer to hint at the wine in a vineyard...lowkey genius
I like being able to guess who the spy is, but I also wish that at the end they'd show what their respective roles were (or have the roles on the screen but not show who is who at the very least.)
I think it would be cool if you did a round where we played alongside the spy. All we knew is who the spy was and nothing else, we had to try and figure out what the location with the spy.
Poise I already do this. Don't look at your screen or phone and listen to see if you can get the location
I noticed how brandon says "You only have 34 seconds left." instead of "we only have 34 seconds left." Implying that he is not a part of the group and is singled out as the spy. Just thought that was interesting.
j_speedster good catch
Nice!!
it kinda feels like he directed that at only d though
You totally took what he said out of context. "You only have 34 seconds left. You better ask a question". Only D has 34 seconds left to ask a question, not all of them.
Ha you must have not listened to what he said after.
Dee: "vine-yard"
Me: *screams internally*
Also D: "Like red wine? Like a Chardonnay?"
airikr01 lol, I missed that one
B13unit D, short for Dante, something he used to call himself prior to all this, not Dee like Always Sunny :P
Zant cool! And where was he prior? I only know him from this channel
Love the goldeneye music in the background brings back memories.
I love this layout, where we have to guess the spy. I got all correct, except for the first one, cause I thought it was Nico too because of his last answer lol. Was leaning towards Brandon before that.
I don't. I'd be ok if they did alternating rounds or something
why nicos answer was perfect if you ever were on a rock concert there are certain types of combat lul
Ive only got the first one correct, Nico cleared his name with his what does it smell like question for me.
I thought nico was for sure the spy, D gave him 1-10 and he was supposed to say 11!
Officerfuznut I
GWAR!!!!!!! Fuck yes. Thanks for using that picture for the rock concert :D... RIP Oderus Urungus!
What does it smell like? it smells like teen spirit
Lasse Hansen that would've gave it away lol
jeah he thinked about that answer thats why he cut in the nirvana video
I was thinking weed...
Guns and Roses
You would only really give that answer if most of the group didnt know what Nirvana is.
You can so easily see that Brandon is the spy in the beginning round. Look at his akward smiles
You can see the lies swirling in his eyes
The "you only have 34 seconds" really doesnt mean hes spy to me :/
I still love how Niko asked a question only people who knew the location would understand and D still thought he was the spy right after
I appreciate you making the opening screen and music distinct then providing the location on the folder so we can play along whenever we want
I love that they used a clip of Periphery
2:41 Oh, that's Periphery. Good shit editor.
Fuck yeah
Phoontang I've been waiting for a comment like this
Phoontang I was actually playing The Bad Thing on guitar when that clip started playing. That was one of the craziest coincidences of my life.
In another spyfall video someone mentions bass and they use a clip of nolly doing a playthrough over it.
Liking the new layout. The spy scene transitions too, especially that outro, were...explosive.
more spyfall
2:41 Periphery. I knew these guys were my favorite youtube group they just gained a million points for me
D: "Lemme ask you, are there guns here?"
Brandon: "Guns here? No..."
*Intense stare down*
2:40 PERIPHERY THE BAD THING!
Whoever put this in the video, +20000 respect sir!
Niko: "What's it smell like here"
Literally every single person: "Teen Spirit"
It was definitely more fun without knowing who was the spy. Good job
"Is Purell hand sanitizer?"
Fast forward to 2020-2021
do more of these. I love the interactive aspect of this video
Counter argument for "Mad Cap Redhead," the animated Wonka who is the sponsor for actual Wonka candy is a redhead.
That Periphery at 2:45 ❤❤ i truly love you editor
Nico with that clutch Dahl trivia.
I read Charlie and Great Glass Elevator when I was young too though I barely remember it.
YES MORE!! I love *NOT KNOWING* who the spy is, this is so much *BETTER!!!*
*AAAaaaAaAaAAaAaaA*
Loved this format! You could also do a round where we're playing with the spy. We only know who the spy is, the other players role and the location are unknown so we'd have to guess the location too.
2:41 Didn't expect you guys play a riff from my favourite progressivel metal band, Periphery :)
Really like how you don't tell us who is the spy, makes you actually think instead of us just waiting until someone founds out who the spy was.
I love your spyfall videos! I've watched all of them on multiple occasions.
That periphery clip
its actually fairly easy to spot if brandon is the spy, he always seems to have his phone out scrolling through the places when he is the spy.
That Periphery tho
The vineyard being east or west coast wasn’t a good question i live in Nc and a big thing about our state is we have a lot of vineyards and Nc is on the east coast
Niko was so shady when he wasn't the spy.
I enjoy it more when we're not told who the spy is and we have to play along.
Please do more of these rounds in the future.
Niko missed the Spinal Tap "These go to 11" set up. I thought he was the spy because of that.
Personally, I like being able to guess the spy along with you guys. Keep the roles hidden!
This format is great! You guys should always keep the spy secret so we can hone our spy fall skills.
Niko always says I'm not the spy if he really isn't when they are voting for him
everyone's face when D guessed the local was pretty funny
You should play a custom game sometime located at your studio where the roles are Niko, D, Brandon and Alex or whoever is playing. It's going to be cool since the roles will be switched up between you
i knew it was brandon as soon as he asked
"what kind of vehicles would you see here"
"SO THIS KIDS SO DUMB" lol had me cracking up.
I was expecting D to day 'I wouldn't bring my kids' since he referenced that previously. So i'd say that gave it away pretty easily.
And somehow he wasn't.
Great spy! He knows about vineyards even though he's never hear someone say it.
"red wine, like a chardonnay" lol... good one D
I can't believe you suspected Niko after you acknowledged how good his "What does it smell like here?" question. You knew exactly what it was referencing ya dolt D. Sure smells like teen spirit around here.
The intro tho 😂
Glad you guys dig the goldeneye overture too ;)
Plz do more Spy fall
For those who don't know, "Mary Poppins - Spoonful of Sugar" was the reference
i prefer the mystery of not knowing who the spy is, and then the challenge of trying to work it out :D now please more TTT in this style of not telling us who is who
D: "Red wine. You know, like a Chardonnay. "
Me: *facepalm*
Even more enjoyable when you guys hide the roles from us!
I really love the Spyfall vids. Keep it up boooooiis!
periphery breakdown was a good cutaway choice
Guessing who the spy is makes these videos more fun to watch!! Keep it up guys!!
D: *asks damning question*
Brandon: *asks even more damning question*
Alex: *damning question x3 combo*
A good question for the candy factory would be "Did you get here by chance?", ahem golden ticket!
After that pyramids of giza answer, Brandon immediately looked at his phone, and then asked about immigrants. Was so sure it was him, but was plesantly surprised with D nailing the location!
aww the James Bond scenes it would of been awesome if you put a Jpg image of Nikos face on Pierce Brosnans through all the scenes XD
I really love this game for these kinds of videos; Something about the simplicity of the game combined with the political detection aspects of this really gets to me. I sure hope the game gets more love from both the dev(s), since it has a few kinks to work out, and the community!
1:20 "Deja vu, I've been in this place before..." xD
Mosh pits are totally a certain type of combat! That's what made me switch from Niko to Brandon hahah
Damn I swore niko was the spy at the first one straight from the 2nd question I thought niko
God I love this series, even more so when we have to play along blind.
you know when its D because he does not accuse anyone of being the spy and gets much quieter
"Madcap redhead" is a reference to I Love Lucy, and the candy factory scene. Not Willie Wonka.
In the unknown rounds, you can make us follow one person. Make everyone else unknown but we know 1 person. We can follow the spy and try to guess the location.
I laughed way too hard at the smells like teen spirit joke
I love the editing on these videos!!
Thinking the first round is based out in Antarctica
But they add in James Bond riding off a cliff and the place they start in is a rock concert
Really love the new format where we get to guess :)
One of the new Jackbox games is kinda like Spyfall, you guys might want to consider playing that too.
Game 1 - Niko seemed guilty, just the way he half arses his answers sometimes
Game 2 - Knew it was D.
These videos are always great. Good work guys.
Loved the beginning... spy... FALL!!!
So happy for an entirely unknown video.
What I like about not knowing is that we can see if we have knowledge bias or not.
unknown spy is the best way, please do it next time again Daniel
Let the Spyfall... When It crumbles....We will stand tall...
You should keep the location a secret too, so that way we can either try to guess who the spy is or what the location is
just like was have to guess the spy you should do rounds where we have to try guess the location with the spy
finally Niko gets a spot on the couch
So I found out at 2:40, NODE fucks with periphery and that's pretty cool.
Here are my guesses:
1st: Rock Concert: I picked Niko because he was too suspicious, I was wrong.
2nd: Vineyard: I picked no one because they all gave good answers and questions, then D ended up getting the location right, it was confusing
3rd: Candy Factory: I picked Brandon because Niko, Alex, and D gave great answers so it cleared their names and Brandon was too vague, and I was right :)
So 1 out of 3, not too bad.
BRUH on the vineyard round I totally ruled out Dee as the spy cause he asked the hand sanitizer question and I thought he was referencing the alcohol in hand sanitizer to hint at the wine in a vineyard...lowkey genius
I just enjoyed this over a bowl of cereal.
I like being able to guess who the spy is, but I also wish that at the end they'd show what their respective roles were (or have the roles on the screen but not show who is who at the very least.)
I agree with the majority of people here, not knowing who the spy is, is sooo much better. Keep all Spyfall vids like this
i got an ad for AC Originds just after ye talked about egypt :D
MOAR PLEASE
GWAR in the beginning of the video? Awesome.
12:40 it is not mars, it's just space.
c'mon niko, i had such high hopes for you...
Kind of surprised there is no role as a Roadie for the Rock Concert stage.
You should make the location secret as well as well as the spy so viewers can play along as if they were the spy or trying to find the spy
