both pokemons are good at 4 stars but marshadow has lot of potential for ghost team and fighting team in future. zeraora 8star can compliment fighting team by providing phantom to them. i personally have replaced zera with marshadow as you saw. the information of those surprise summons is really surprise it will be given in game notification one day before it comes.
the schedule for giratina is over in release schedule. only other means is that, it may come in random events/ limited red draws which comes other than scheduled red draws. most possible time should be haloween or ghost related events. you can save diamonds from now i recommend saving atleast 20000 dias and keep them in reserve.
the planned release schedule of new pokes is in games official diasord , which you can join by pressing the discord icon in game. old Pokemon already released may come in special occasions like carnival event etc it's really random

2 months when i started i get minimum 20k+ dias a month now with dias from all activities, events they conduct, weekly monday gift codes. etc i will say thay we have to play daily to do activities and don't spend dias unnecessaryly, for example i don't spend dias on buying energy unless carnival event or dungeon drop event comes. i avoid bid wars,i didn't participate in one till now and spending dias on iv is also not preferred. depends on the goal you set on how you want to play i have a primary team which i am working on to starup. I don't buy copies because i want to collect all pokes.
@@DragoCHAS oh thx! its my 21th day playing the game and have 132k cp and I only spend dias in energy because I it's required in the carnival event in dice event but when I was beginner in game I spent dias for pokemon upgrade and and diamond draw I regret it cuz I spent total of 10k+ dias on that thing instead of spending it for s+ pokemon in red draw.. I currently have 9600 dias but it's ok since I'm begginer but still regret it lol.
i too spent dias on energy till i reached level 65, we do unlock achievements section which provides more dias as you play to compete the tasks in there. that compensated me on the dias i spent on energy it was a huge help. i do suggest focusing on s+ pokes do check release schedule and prepare team for long run

this game has line up element buffs so pick a poke you like and build team around that element
