Originally found this story on a UA-cam channel called 23&1 lockdown and the host of it mentioned that the fugitive more than likely had help from his family to hide for such a long period of time. Another thing; I have to imagine his mother's last thoughts before she passed away was of her son and can only imagine the victim's family sense of uneasiness and fear knowing the killer was still out there; probably looking at every individual who passed by them in public.
sometimes family help in this type situation is what get you caught , some people on the run dont go to family for help and make it their mission to stay away from family with no kind of interaction with their family because that shit gets you caught
Yeah that's often true for some with family members who will knowingly shield them from justified punishment. But there are other types of families like members of mine who will turn you over immediately for something like this - they don't believe you have the right to be supported and free after you've wrongly destroyed another's life or taken it and destroyed their dreams and family. His family relatives are just as guilty for hiding him.
I hope the family can now start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. 28 years of being on the run, that’s just incredible that he had not been found years ago.
If the family cared enough he wouldn’t have been able to get away with it for so longS
@@madamluis2537 that's awful to say, and it sounds really hard tracking someone down that has fake ids and stuff
Now this young man’s soul can Rest In Peace finally. These officers need a medal 🏅
You NPCs make me laugh. You don't even know the circumstances in which the person was murdered. The victim could've been a murderer, a rapist, etc. Not all murders happen for the wrong reasons, some are completely warranted.
my cousin is -- years old. uncle is ...years old. my ...is sick.. my nephew ... is years old. ?? Who is asking you for your family history.
He knew he was done!! Prayers to the friends and family 🙏🌹.
Thank you
sometimes family help in this type situation is what get you caught , some people on the run dont go to family for help and make it their mission to stay away from family with no kind of interaction with their family because that shit gets you caught
Family and friends who knowingly shield a cold blooded murderer are despicable and disgusting !!
Damn, how do you sleep at night knowing you murdered someone 🤦♂️!? Have you no soul?
Praise to the officers! Prayers for the lost ones family. Hope this murderer spends the rest of his life in prison.

“Im not a criminal…”

Typical suspect.
How you get away with that for all these years I was born in 94 im 27 years old that’s crazy
This is awesome I'm so happy for the family of the victim

WHY WAS HE CHEAP AND NOT PAY THE $50 RENEWAL FEE ????
Man he looks so young to be almost 50. Some Woman probably been taking good care of him if he's been on the run this long.
For sure, he’s been shacked up
Stress free, might be eating the proper way unlike many which is why modern ppl age so rapidly. One of the reasons at least

Damn Cuh
Great police work!!!
What a performance by that guy... the nerve to say... he's never being in jail after killing that poor innocent man.
Thank you officers.. for your amazing work👏👏👏👏
Bro we have no evidence he killed anyone. The evidence was from 1994. And having a warrant doesn’t make you guilty, only that you have to go to court and prove your innocence
No one is asking for proof
The crazy thing is he could’ve been out of prison by now so now he probably will spend the rest of his life in prison
Exactly he did it all wrong smh but then again he got to live his youthful life in the streets so it’s pretty much bitter sweet. He better buckle up cause it’s over for him say good bye to the real world my guy and say hello to 🔥…
Right I was thinking the same. But what would u rather? If it was u n the judge said…..either serve ur 25 to life right now (at age 18) or wait 30 years n serve it then?….I mean think he’s gonna serve even more time n his head because he’ll be thinking….
“I could’ve been out by now” but who knows what’s her thinking lol
Yeah but he lived out the best years of his life.
Thank you officers
The worst part of this story is that his whole family allowed him to hide and lie his way through life for the last twenty eight years. They knew who he was and they hid him in plain sight. Then his aunt wants to know why he be getting arrested. And we always want to blame the police for treating people like criminals when they get pulled over and they spout off lie after lie. This is the reason the police are always suspicious of those they pull over and start acting weird.
But police can spout lies after lies right? That's bootlicker mentailty.
I watched the whole bodycam video. He did NOT want his print to be taken. He knew. Unreal he was able to be free for so long. His victim didn't even make it out of his teen years :/
They was always such good kids
Wow! 30 years of moving on with his life after he’s taken someone else’s. And he was very young when he killed that guy and was able to get a new identity. So you already know his family had to of helped him.
How you figure that? You thinking he told them what he done?
@@ibmor7674 well yeah if his freaking mugshot was plastered all over the news then yeah they should know that!!!

You're so right. There are alot of people roaming free like the white guy that they just caught for killing/rape of a young woman a decade ago and is possibly linked to another murder of a young female when he was a truck driver. He was just caught and is now a very old man.

Hello Greetings from Dubai United Arab Emirates, How are you doing today and how is your beautiful family?
According to the laws of our country, this man is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law or he confesses. Condolences to the family of the victim.
You and blm.
Yes. The Rule of Law exists and we are all under it. The first start in this case is detaining this killer and then let the Criminal Justice System take over.
@V. P. N Are you?
This is why cops are on alert during “routine” traffic stops.
No . This is just an opportunity for you to try and wrap some bullsht with a pretty little ribbon
Great Job 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
May the family have closure now Amen 🙌🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾
I would really have liked to have seen his face when they told him they knew who he was!
Yep
never know when you're in the midst of a killer. cant imagine how many ppl are seeing this in shock having no idea this man was even capable of murder, but he obviously is.
You made the most important comment, you realy have to move like a paranoid animal in the wild, even as a human being out here, this is the truth what you said, cant trust nobody, and the nicer you are the more likely that a person will do harm to you. Just grim reality.
Gotta love it. This one is for the crowd that wants to abolish traffic stops.

What you doing the dark will eventually come in the light.
So happy to hear his family member say that it’s the best day for their family they deserve that day

Good job officers. (Meaning the way they handled the stop in general). Hear so many stories how cops have a chip on their shoulder the moment they pull the person over. Completed their task. They were direct & straightforward in the assignment without ego. As for realizing who he truly was - Every blue moon, the justice system pays off. Glad they got his ass.
Funny how they get a good job for failing consistency
🤣😂😂🙌🏿 best comment on UA-cam
You think if you were wanted for murder you wouldn’t be driving around on a suspended license with no insurance and expired registration
"Eventually your past crimes will catch up with you."
Nope, not always. There are plenty of criminals who literally live their entire lives without ever being caught. If he took a cab or an Über or rode the bus he would still be free right now.

I’m saying
28 years that family had to go on living their lives knowing he was out there. Happy for them.
I used to be a Store Detective. One day a fellow Store Detective caught a shoplifter who came back peacefully, and the police were called. Everything was going well in the interview room and then the results of the 50 check came back. The shoplifter was wanted on a murder warrant. The cop pulls out his gun and points it at the guy's head and tells him to put his hands in the air. You never know who is out there in society.
Pulls his gun out with no threat present? Hmmmm this must have been a security guard.
